Considering that they have qualifiers in Korea and Rain won WCS Asia, I don't think the weekend tournament style will be a big issue for him. If anything, playing in the US (jetlag, food, rest, etc) might be a bigger factor. Since it looks like he has to play GSL on Thursday in Korea, it looks like he won't have much time to adjust.

He is also going to LoneStar2 the weekend after so it is likely he will stay in the US for the week. His GSL match is also done and won't need to play until Ro16 which is Nov 12th-15th

Now that I think about it, Polt likely announced going to MLG only after going to Ro16 because he has the downtime between Ro32 and Ro16 to play at MLG and LSC2.
