Jessica may have had her PR disasters, but she's never dishonest if only a bit dramatic and blunt.

So much hate for jessica here. From this translation it seems like she usually tried to do the right things, but she's just too emotional. Wonder what the others have to say.

I believe there have been past events that have contributed to general community dislike of Jessica. She's quite known for creating unnecessary drama.

For that reason, I do hope that she doesn't interfere with SKT T1.

She's not generally known for creating drama (she's actually very much drama-free in terms of being a celerity), but she is known to have a hot temper.

The main root cause is not Jessica, but it is the way Slayers players were treated from other pro-gamers in Korea. They were being bullied and treated as outcasts.

Wow, I just did a quick look through GSL interviews in April and May, and indeed no Slayers player ever mentioned members from other teams as practice partners. All the thanks they gave were only to teammates.

I remember Mvp thanking MMA and Ryung, among other players, after his victory in the 2011 GOM WC. There may have been other mentions last year, but I haven't seen anyone thank a SlayerS player in a very long time.

Everyone practices with Mvp. I can safety assume Mvp will repay the favor even if its done in secrecy, team relations have never been good between IM and Slayers after GanZi was made an overly exaggerated example and Sleep too.

Honestly with all the tension regarding to ostraciation and the lack of team atmosphere it is not surprising players (Puzzle, CoCa, Min) seek alternatives, in this case LoL. Bias aside, LoL has propelled MOBA type games close to mainstream territory and with the amount of Korean investment into LoL makes it a much more financially stable, possible more enjoyable career to pursue. Add on the extra competition from Kespa elephants makes the decision to switch rather easy to make.

Considering Jessica is probably heavily exaggerating Crank/MMA incidents I don't think their actions were necessary out of order. To be paid not by your own sponsorship but rather Boxer's personal sponsorship is demoralizing, this is probably what lead to embezzlement accusations as personal sponsorships are paid to the benefactor. Alicias case is the only one rather silly, kid needs to grow up. MMA/Crank probably felt held back from their true potential due to the lack of practice partners and these incentives, although selfish, lead them on a quest trying to create a separate team and/or moving to foreign ones. After all isn't too unreasonable considering no one practices with you and you are only getting paid cause someone likes your boss.

tl;dr In summary, standard Asian mentality, avoiding confrontational with issues until it blows up in your face. Look forwarding to reading both sides to the story.

LG-IM.CoCa to carry on IM zerg line, one can only pray at this point :[

Holy shit, I can't believe it :O This team has always been one of my favourite teams, I'm really, really saddened by this news. It's a shame about Puzzle and Coca switching to LoL, I always thought they were really talented players

So basically eSF treated SlayerS players badly and then Jessica was accused of embezzling funds, which most of the players agreed about, and the team basically died. Sad, whatever the whole truth might be.

Shouldn't the police be investigating this though?

Haven't read through it all but, damn Jessica is a badass. and here everyone thought she was some silly drama queen.

Don't bullshit stuff when you haven't read through all of it

She isn't gonna talk all this shit and lie about it. Jessica's mentioning names and initials, you don't wanna lie about stuff like that.

There's a reason why we're getting other players' sides of the story later.
Also, you must not know a lot about some of the shadier foreign "teams".
EDIT: For example, Eclypsia and Blight, and also the TSL Coach Lee stuff had a bunch of names thrown around.

??? Eclipse and Blight have nothing to do with this?

There's gonna be some discrepancies, ya, but I'll take Jessica's word over a 18~20 year olds.

While i really got tired of Jessicas Drama all the time.. In no way i believe that she is/was dishonest. I may not like her, but that does not mean that i need to lose all respect for her.

Sad to see Slayers go.

MMA must have a solid counter answer if it's his fault that Boxer lost his passion to play the game. I hope MMA have a really solid answer.

Until now, for myself, i'll boycoyt every MMA match for what it's worth (meaning nothing). As a huge fan and follower of Boxer i really can't understand how you could disrepect the man.

If this kids can be paid playing video game, it's because of him.

A year ago if someone told you that oGs would disband before ZeNEX and SlayerS would follow shortly after you'd laugh at them .
