Then there is no problem except that Jessica leaked it. Now that it's public he of course has to apologise, seeing how rampant some of the Korean netizens are. Most people seem to miss the largest conclusion you can make of this entire conversation and screenshot of MC trashtalking. Jessica's accusation of largescale bullying is being proven. MC apologised specifically on calling Genius out on being "Slayers trash". The same quote that Jessica used earlier in her very first post on why Slayers disbanded. The fact that MC used this exact quote (as a joke or not), and now specifically apologises for it, tells us that it's been used before and players know it's being used by others. The other possibility is Jessica based the whole Slayers Trash thing on this screenshot. Hardly sizzler.prime already confirmed it with his tweets

Not necessarily. It could be that MC is completely truthful in saying the comments were made in jest... but still done poorly. Take for example you have in your head the most amusing racial joke and you to tell it your friend and he gets offended.. your intentions aren't to be hateful but the results are same. I think given the tension involved in all things Slayers, MC could have exercised a lot more caution, but this whole thing isn't serious enough that a simple apology (which he gave) won't solve.
Fuck intentions, why would you care about the intentions of the oppressor when we can be just and care about the feelings of the oppressed, it's always has extra sting when you insult the group a person belongs to than the person. Not cool.

The whole point is MC is saying it was a joke between friends and Jessica is trying to use it as proof of bullying etc. Which maybe the Slayers players did get bullied but I don't see MC playing a big(Or any part) in it. As mentioned in his tweets he took care of the slayers players in oversea's tournies and from what every single person that has met him has said is a very nice/friendly guy. So again I have to side with MC on this until 100% proven otherwise, in my eyes he has earned benefit of the doubt and Jessica hasn't.... So you think Jessica was just waiting behing Genius just looking for opportunities to screenshot MC? Honestly who do you think took the screenshot and showed it to Jessica? Why would they show it to Jessica? The screenshot was from a replay.................... And? Are you saying Jessica is personlly going through every replay of every slayers player to look for evidence? Much more likely somebody else had taken offense and brought this to her attention. You would be surprised on how far Jessica would go . . . The fact that you would even insinuate this is absurd. Do you have any idea how many games pro gamers play per day with each game averaging 10 min+? Indeed I do. Also, in replays, its called fast forward. The story is that Boxer saw it live and told Jessica about it, so she didn't need to go through every replay. Even if just Boxer got offended, Genius did not, it is still not OK for what MC said. He can call Genius trash, but Slayers trash is offensive to Boxer and the whole team.
I think with yesterdays post on playxp its clear who is genius siding with.
and its jessica not esf or mc

Leaving it hidden will allow the rotten core to thrive more than it already has. If eSports (or rather SC2) ever wants to grow even larger, it has to shed that core which is only out for their own gain. I think it's the only right thing to do actually.

Regardless of Boss's role in all this, I feel like he's totally right when he calls out Slayers for not bringing this to people's attention when the team still existed. Why would you wait until your team is disbanded to say this stuff? It feels like Jessica bottled all of this up and now that Slayers is dead she wants to take the whole scene down with her.
It's tragic in so many ways. We could still have Slayers and a less corrupt eSF had she spoken up sooner. She seems like a fairly smart person, and obviously knows how having fans works in terms of support. I don't get why she didn't talk about the boycott when it started happening - which was a long time ago!

For those exact same reasons that BoSS stated... it looks bad on Starcraft 2 and it's organizations, thus less sponsors. She did try to solve the issues through private channels, which didn't work out. Obviously she and BoxeR then lost all confidence in the future of ESF and it's organizations, including players. Thus they disband and bring the issues to light.
I think it's fairly normal, and what nearly every person would've done.
