Anyways, I can see why EG did this, but maybe its only because I'm not a Reddit kind of guy, but this issue really didn't seem to blow up the proportions where it would be expected that Stephano would get punished in some way. Maybe it was just enormous on Reddit though and just didn't bleed over into TL for some reason.
Anyways, a DAMN SHAME that I won't get to see any Stephano in the GD Invitational or Dreamhack. :<

That is so wrong it's just hilarious. Each state has an age of consent. If you are 16 in say Maryland, you can have sex with anyone older than you. It's when you're below that that issues pop up. Like here if you're 14, the oldest person you can have sex with is 17 because they're within 3 years of you.
But you don't have to be 18, each state has their own age of consent.

I guess EG has it written into their players contracts that if sponsors complain about any controversy then a suspension of this type happens. I understand the controversy but it is shame that some Reddit folks on SRS can harm SC2 careers out of malice by contacting sponsors in this way. Stephano will have learned his lesson not to make jokes to his friends and will resume his career after his suspension ends.
