No one is OK with that on the civilized part of the planet. Apparently having sex with children is fine in France, but I can tell you, it's not in the US. Yes it's probably a joke, that's why there's no legal issues. It's just that it's a disgusting thing to say and very bad for the starcraft image = a month without salary for the player. It's fair imo. No it is not fine in France either, it's just that unfortunately the most vocal French are douche bags, especially Stephano fans. I am French, I disapprove of what Stephano has done and I think that was the only correct answer possible from EG.

And Stephano did just a joke... hypocrisy... Keep your goodness. I don't want it. “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.” Voltaire. (philosopher) The word 'minor' in the case of the footballers doesn't mean the same as "below the age of consent". Minor means below 18, while the age of consent in most countries is 15 or 16. Quite the difference.

Hopefully he probably learned what it means to be a professional from this. When you are on a payroll, there are certain things you just dont do. One of them is making jokes about abusing 14 yrs sex slave and get caught. To be honest, if you need to be told about this, you bit lacking something up there in my opinon.

I would say some of the things i've told mates in jest, but i fear you'd have a hearth attack you aren't streaming it to 2k plus people thats the difference, we don't know you and your friend you could be joking or you could be serious. Try this with your friends saying this publicly and very loudly i would like to see how long before someone called the police on you.

Unlike TeamLiquid and Reddit, the police don't like their time being wasted on trivial matters that could be solved by people not taking everything seriously.

And he happens to be in a business where public image is very important. And he happens to be the flagship member of that business. That will end well for sure right?

No. It wasn't Stephano's stream (Stephano typed some words on battle.net), and it wasn't EG who found it about it, it was a group of people on Reddit who think their grudges are changing the world. The very first post in their thread has a list of EG sponsors. They like holding sponsors hostage (even though they aren't relevant to the community at all, and won't remember this in a fortnight, nor will they remember who the sponsors even were while they buy some new computers with Intel CPUs) to randomly punish guys.

Seriously get a few friends have one video tape, go out on the streets and speak very loudly and clear about how you like to have sex encounters with 14 year old girls (or boys) see how long you will last. Either a parent will knock you out or a policeman with children will knock you out. There are things to joke about but this is not one of them, i'm not saying im a white knight who never makes a dark humor comment but i don't make it with people i dont know well (the streamers un-intended recipients) and i don't make them when im in the middle of the shopping mall. Edit: That people find this even remotely ok disturbs me a little bit.

And to all hes fans: Its not something to blow off, the joke was disgusting. This really tells us what sort of person he is. Joke or not, hes a fucking creep. You don't joke about "abusing" a minor. If any of you think its OK, your also fucked in the head.
