She has deleted her twitter, I think that can be seen as a sort of "statement".

TL: Bring back balance threads and ban drama threads! My thoughts exactly.
The community needs its drama fix. It feeeeeeds on drama.

Reading into the "official" statements, I'm left with a feeling like there's something we're not being told. I mean... We've only heard one side of the story, and that's from the people trying to cover their own asses.

Pretty scumbag move. Kinda gives female gamers a bad name.
I certainly hope that she and DeathAngel be banned from at least any events for a certain amount of time (maybe forever is too much).

dang Kawaii. You done worked son. Great find. :D

I just wonder if anyone ever get lessons from veralynn ... was it noticable that she was a fraud there?

TL: Bring back balance threads and ban drama threads! It's a news-worthy item that affects the community quite heavily. Team Liquid is one of the biggest community sites, making it an ideal location to release information (to the point where many organizations will advertise on here). What else would you expect, really?

All that time spent on making a false image, when it could have been the true image.

TL wants to be the white knight and ensure that any poor decisions will lead to the end of a career. Or as much of an end as is possible.

Yes, because if one female gamer is a fraud SURELY they all are!

Because E-Sports needs gossip and drama just like real sports.
It keeps fans engaged.

Gretorp, i didn't like you, i'm happy you proved me i was an asshole!
GJ to everyone who cleared this affair, really sucks, cheaters are really the one thing i HATE, nothing pisses me off more then people who do such shit.

I actually read all of that on the first few posts and found it extremely interesting. It is very unfortunate that she tried to get away with all of this and somehow did for so long. Anyway, thanks to Mr. Rice for spending the time required and bringing all of this out so the appropriate actions could be taken in all the correct places.

Wow this is awful news. I can't even believe it...I've spoken to Veralynn a few times and she seemed pretty nice, wouldn't have thought her capable of such a thing. It's so unfortunate because people are already sceptical of SC2 coaching in general, and these types of scandals don't help. I can only hope that people don't blame the chicken for one bad egg, this type of thing is the exception in coaching, not the norm - there are plenty of dedicated coaches out there.
On the other hand, I have to give major kudos to KawaiiRice for exposing this. The SC2 community is largely self-governed, and it's nice to know there are authorities looking out for these types of scams.

Except that this wasn't just a poor decision by her but a continous plan to make her more famous... I have no idea how long this has been going but it seems like quite a while.

Sjow lost to "her" in a showmatch. NightEnd is from Romania along with DeathAngel.
