that 10 year would not stand up in court. In Poland, there is no specified limit for non-competes in contracts, but they cannot be "unreasonable." No court or arbitration panel would find the 10 year "reasonable" under any measure. I am not a lawyer, this is not legal advice.

The 10 years not starting a team house is retarded, 5 years OK, but some players might have to turn into coaching / training houses etc. 10 years is extremely long when it comes to SC2, seems kind of abusive. Second, the streaming forced, thats not a good environement for pro players aiming to the top, might fit Destiny, but others maybe want to train strategies, what if you have to train for a specific match up in 2 weeks, and have to try some sniper builds hardcore, you'll have to stream and thats negative for practice in certain situations, and about the money, it's hilariously high, plus, Destiny says the boss is kind of a dick, and since he knows the boss is going to read this, he must be complete dick.
With all that in consideration, Destiny's point still stands strong, why would you go there if you didnt read the contract "me no speaky england good" isnt really an excuse, you wanted to go there, maybe have some practice free of contract and take your time to decide, the error was on your part 100%, maybe you wanted the community exposure or making contacts with the pros, but you dont go there slightly and then back off. The part about the money, yeah you're somewhat right, but also you did come there, came into their plans, and retracted few days later, it's not how it works, you dont go there as a tourist.
Frankly, seems like a shitty place that would benefit only few pros that would be ok with all the negatives, just seems to evolve around profit and nothing else, but thats up to the guys applying to it anyway so...

Ov vey, you should be lucky goyim. Think of it as college. You take out loans to pay for the degree, and you get something later on (a job / career). You pay the Ministry of Win up front, they take a cut of streaming, and you become a better player because you live in the house and later on you will win tournaments.

if a dispute like this would go to court, would it be a Finnish or a Polish court? What if their laws are different, and aspects of the contract are illegal in one country but not in the other?

What do you have to say about "the Boss" using the house for personal reasons or the lack of proper amounts of food and exercise? Doesn't that make the environment not conducive to becoming a world-class pro?
