Destiny has 100% right. Its not some kind of playground :/ Fuzer should read contract before going there, and before he paid.
Boss said some stupid shit too, but MoW have the right not to give all (2000zł) money back. You reserve a hotel room for a month and a week later you decide to leave. What do you think will happen?
kropekkk is a 'shady' figure, but in this case Law is on the side of MoW. If MoW decide to give all of the money, it will be only their good will. Can you not read? He didn't decide to leave, he was forced to leave.

This.

Was sitting on the fence with this one waiting to hear a statement from both sides of the argument. But giving your statement to a third party source to report on instead of just giving it to us from the horse's mouth just makes me think that MoW are the bad guys here.

In before statement in polish in a polish website!

Basically, you can live elsewhere for that amount very decently and even hire some house help - but cost of living in Warsaw is somewhat high (as it can be in capitols), and if you're going to make a gaming house in Poland - it's going to be there - because you want to be close to a good airport hub - and other cities in Poland have either limited number of chartered flights, or they go through Warsaw anyway. Airline connection is IMHO on par with broadband internet accessibility and above cost of living when it comes to location of a gaming house. So for that exact location, the cost does not seem unreasonable. Anyhoo, approaching 2,5 h - if there's nothing in next 30 min, I urge you all to check back in 12-15 hours, as it's almost midnight in Poland. It's dangerous to go alone. Here, take this. Arguing about the price makes no sense whatsoever. Supply and demand. Judging from the responses they get, they might as well have added 200 bucks more and people would want to go there.

I wonder what the "related" story is.

That's a bold move...
Guess it must be profitable to send it to the media first but I'd be surprised if this community doesn't skin you alive for it.

Its kind of what the entire site is about. But not every poster is.
The reach of esports vengeance is far so how about everyone calm the fuck down.

Besides, what is more trusted that their own post in Team Liquid!?!?!

I dunno why you guys think the statement being released elsewhere makes a difference. They already have the capacity to release the statement as slanted as bias as they want. It going somewhere else first doesn't make a difference.

I got a 20€ per night on Krakow on a quite good, pretty and clean place, with shower, wifi and tv. So i am pretty sure you could find better bargains. Well, I'm sure you can find a "place" for 10€ in Poland, but I wouldn't exactly call it a "hotel". I found a place for $15 a night in NYC, right by central park. The room is as big as the bed, and that's all there is in it, but at least it's not outside. i call shenanigans. Proof?

I love how people get mad over random stuff. oO
He never said that TL isn't a reliable news source. There is also a difference between TL the site and TL the forum.
Maybe ESFI is wrting a piece right now and getting another Fuzer statement on that as well. Some people really need to relax...

To the ppl that are saying that for 600Euro you can live like a God in Poland... well you people apparently know shit about this country and cities like for example Sopot or Warsaw. For 600Euro you MIGHT be able to survive after renting a one room flat, paying all the bills and buying yourself a food. And I wouldnt be so sure if I would actually survive with these 600 euro.

Interesting. I expect the tread will be a lot of he said she said but hopefully truth comes out eventually. Nice work telling the story Fuzer, takes a bit of courage. gl to you.

Better be feeding them hella good...
oh wait You're from the U.S. That rent, by U.S. standards, would be atrociously insufficient. Of course, it may be in the middle of buttfuck nowhere, I don't know, but considering the services provided, I would say they could not come even close to covering their costs with 7200 euros per month. It's simply not realistic. Also, streaming revenue is highly dependent on the player. If you're one of the people with 120 viewers, your streaming revenue is negligible anyways. MoW is meant to be a business. While I think the 10-year thing is ridiculous if true concerning joining another team, it is completely reasonable in terms of opening a house of their own (assuming it's for-profit). I would assume streaming revenue couldn't be taken on their "days off" like weekends or whatever as well. The fact food is even supplied at 600 Euros a month, with gas/water, Internet/utilities, and the actual amount of equipment and services provided, is once again, in my eyes, a fucking steal. I'd bet if they disclosed their financial statements you'd find they'd be operating on a very marginal profit margin. I'd be surprised if they've been able to even recoup their initial total investment, which is most likely leveraged in the first place and thus they'll also have to pay interest. People that think the costs to the players are ridiculous are people that have absolutely no concept of finances. Bro, when I lived with my parents overseas we were renting 8 bedroom 4 bath houses for 2500 euros a month in German and English cities. I know this is all anecdotal evidence, but I'm just letting you know that with 7200 euros a month (probably more since they are getting some streaming revenue, maybe some sponsors and not every player is probably paying the same amount) you should EASILY be able to afford something like the MoW setup. Easily. Easily, especially in Poland, quite a cheap country to live in For those people who dont know anything about european prices etc...What are 600 € Swizerland: u can´t even affort your food per month for 600€ not to mention any kind of living or dont even think of having good food. a small cup of coffee costs about 7sFr(5€/6,5dollar) the Same with Sweden Norway/maybe GB; Not true of sweden. A large coffe from a high end place is like 4 bucks. You'd have to eat out every day of the week to spend 600€ a month on food here. Yea but you dont eat meat or drink any alcohol... I'm pretty sure i do. Even if i buy expensive breakfast and lunch out it's still not close to that kind of cash. damn that i was totally wrong about sweden but im sure im right about CH cus i live near the border in austria. and im pretty sure im right about Norway cus i talked with a few norwegians about that too
I'm Norwegian, and I can guarantee you that it's not correct. It'd be around 4.4k NOK. Is it enough to feed a family? Probably not. Unless you really had to, then it probably could be. But I've lived on well under that for food for the last six years. And I'd venture most people in their early 20s do as well.

You've got to be kidding me.
You people do realize that when someone accuses you of running a shady business, you probably shouldn't promise to release a statement in 2 hours and then two hours later tell us you've decided to do something different.
I'm going to wait to hear what the statement is before passing judgement, but telling the community you're going to do one thing and then to do another is causing MoW to lose credibility quite quickly from my perspective.

I just spit out my water.
Ok...so does that mean we have to wait for your statement that is supposed to be here now to be released along with a trusted eSports news source(which, for all we know, could be a stalling tactic but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt) related story?
I don't know how many people regularly attend things like ESFI or Gosu gamers coverage things, but I'd tend to give you much more credit to present information in this forum, where you were criticized. What if fuzer did a news article with ESFI about this? Anyhow, I won't put up too much of a stink because it isn't that big of a deal.
Edit: @ the guy who was offended about TL not being the trusted news source, thats kinda my gut reaction too. It'll be dissected and discussed either way, but let's not embellish the situation.

They have Team Liquid account... They can use that to release the statement themselves, just like they have been providing updates about their statement....
