I spoke to the MoW boss two months ago, because I was interested in joining, but over the month or so we spoke together, he seemed very unfit to run that kind of thing and I'm glad I decided to just stay at home and practice.
Having lived there, can you comment on the food situation? Are you allowed to have cars? Can you just go out and buy yourself food if you want?
I can't just answer yes or no as it wouldn't give the right picture of the situation. Right now i'm at a wedding, as soon as i'm back i'll make a proper post to explain my point of view if necessary.

More like miscommunication buddy. That's why it's sort of important to have the lawyer there with the guy running the damn thing. Have to make sure it's worded perfectly clear or else this is what happens.
OP, first of all i feel sorry for you. i happen to live in this shithole and i regret every minute of my life spent here. simply put, for 2500pln/month noone from my family would have to work anymore, thus, if you want to move in and play on my pc 24/7 just let me know. i can speak basic finnish too, shouldnt be a problem.

Well asked my lawyer friend and let's start off that if you're offering a contract to a forigner it has to be translated to the signing persons native language. So in other words you need 2 copies of the contract one in The persons native language and the other in let's say English, otherwise in court this contract would not be valid.

Not only that both copies of the contract have to be confirmed as the same texts by a sworn translator. Only then the contract is valid in the eyes of Polish law.
The right thing to do is to pay Fuzer back the money he is "owed" even with no contract, but paying with cash and no contract etc you are just giving it to them for free. If they want to be assholes about it then unfortunately they can do that.
The living situation sounds a bit funky too, with the partying, lack of food and schedule, but I supposeed we'd have to hear a statement or other players' opinions on the matter to judge properly.

Fuzer did acknowledge his English is not fantastic and thus may not be totally correct about the facts. However, I'm surprised Destiny is willing to pay to go there when they're requiring him to give them a cut of his streaming income (basically the only source of income he has). If Destiny can speak to that aspect of the contract I'd be interested to hear what he has to say. Is Fuzer accurate about that claim?
Fuzer was right to want to scrutinize the contract with a lawyer, especially because English is not his first language.
From what has been discussed the thread the clauses aren't particularly bad The supposed worst one with the 10-year restriction on opening up a competing gaming house is pretty standard, even though I doubt it would hold up.
The only really eyebrow-raising thing here is that A) they wanted money up front, in cash, before Fuzer even saw the contract and B) they didn't allow Fuzer to take the contract to his lawyer. I'd like to hear from MoW about that.

And regarding Destiny's post, i agree that a contract is a contract, but who the hell has the rights to say that you have to sign it before xx:xx o'clock because well how Fuzer stated, if english ain't your first language you better ask your lawyer because he knows this stuff and you do not, i would have made the exact same decision. Asking for a license on the bosses part is somewhat strange to me.
I know that at least in the US, you can have something in a contract that prevents you from doing something if you leave the company that emplys you. I have never seen anything more than one year though. Ten years seems quite rediculous to me.
