I got a beta key around the 22th Dec. right as i Pre-Ordered from the Blizzard Store.

Pretty sure they said if you preorder from blizz store you would get a key within one week.

It is called "Base Camera" and it is under the camera hotkeys.

hey my game bugs when i try to create a map in the custom game section (offline play), i press the start button and nothing happens, i press quit and nothing happens, like im stuck and then i log off but its impossible to re login. This bug happens every time i try offline play in the custom games.

Am i the only one here with this issue?

Nope, you're not the only one. I have a similar problem whenever I try to play an offline custom game versus A.I. However, if I log off it will close the lobby and I can log back in.

Is the ladder funky for anyone else?

In WOL I used to be master Terran, started playing HOTS as soon as I got my key but last season I got placed in Gold and was winning most of my games (went like 20-5) against people of random leagues (playing from Silver up to Masters).

New season starts, I lose my placement match and get placed in Bronze, now I'm 0-5, my matches have all been really close so far but I just can't win, and once again I'm playing people of completely random leagues (silver, master, plat and 2 people with no league but A LOT of beta games played)...wtf is going on?

I was HotS diamond before season end, won my placement, was placed in plat and kept getting matched up against golds. A few games later I was back in diamond. But yeah something weird's going on. Not sure if it's because of a small playerbase or they're testing a new MMR system. Lately I just stopped checking their league because of this, all that matters is I'm getting matched up with people of similiar skill to mine.

game is crashing around 10-15 min in every game (not a heating issue, or anything of that sort) ive been looking for other posts with simular crashing but havnt found any, theres no warning, and my only option is the close the program. any thoughts?

This sometimes starts happening to me after my stream or something else hangs the PC so I have to reset, which, I suppose, in turn causes SC2 files to get corrupted and do random crashes like that. Happened in WoL too. I cure it with reinstall.

Another funny thing about ladder I just noticed. So I came back from holydays yesterday, played a placement game (got placed in plat after dia, yeah), then played some more ladder. This is how my match history looks :D That loss is right after the placement game which I won.

Losing gives you points now.

I believe that is because you get points from your bonus pool even if you lose the game. IIRC the points are based on how many points you would have gotten if you had won the game.

Wait, it takes points from your bonus pool if you lose and have bonus points available. But giving points for losing? I suppose I did have 0 ladder points, but I still think giving points for losing is just wrong no matter what.

Happend to me too, twice or so, but all iother times i've just lost bonus pool and no points for loosing.

Dont know why it occurs.

I heard amazon ran out of keys. Blizzard extended their beta a while ago, and everyone who preordered would get a key.

Got my key litterally the same minute i preordered it from the blizz store.
