You know that the reason the team died out the first time was because they couldn't get any sponsors right? If people think that slinging shit to sponsors of players or teams every time they misstep is "moving forward" in gaming or esports, then they're kidding themselves. The dispute between Bluetea and Destiny is a totally private matter and should never have surfaced into the consciousness of the public domain (re; to the sponsors) and people should have the maturity to understand and respect the situation when they see it. This blatant bandwagoning that we see every time a player or team is thought to have "crossed a line" reflects VERY poorly on the community - it serves only to introduce extra volatility into an industry that is already quite volatile.

If things like this weren't scrutinized by the community I'd lose faith in the community. Maybe he should stop doing incredibly disgusting things? disgusting things like having a private chat with his friends about fucking a chick? Or are you telling me girls don't bitch about how mashed some lads are?

If you send naked pictures to a guy, they might end up showing them to another friend. That is the reality of the situation (despite what is 'right') and the risk you take. He showed them to two close friends, not an entire chat room. Classy? No. But still not 'distributing' them to the internet. If he wanted to, they'd be all over everywhere. It's not hard. Guys like boobs. And apparently she has a nice body. Now she's actually distributed pictures to the entire internet of his penis, and hacked his accounts to do so. She's actually broken more laws than him. Both people are immature. She needs to take responsibility for her action of sending the photo in the first place, and for the subsequent actions, which are more serious than Destiny's. Destiny has to not be an idiot and allow his private stuff to be hacked and realize as a semi-famous internet personality that his personal conversations will be subject to lots of scrutiny (not that it should, I believe people have a right to have private conversations). Not saying Destiny's right, just that they're both wrong.

Answer is and always will be, yes. I don't know why it is even a question.

Root didn't give a shit about anything that guy did until they had sponsor pressure. In fact they said in their statement it was specifically the sponsor pressure that forced their hand. In a business based on views a couple emails/posts are pretty easily ignored. And the proof is right in front of you. People in the gaming industry need to wake up. Then make it clear how you will act. SAY something about it. Cos you know what the most fucking hilarious part is? No team in the history of SC2 has had the choice to get rid of Destiny. Every time there was an incident, people jumped straight to sponsors who forced the team to act. Nobody has ever had the choice. I'm not saying you should keep doing it every single time, but do it ONCE. Give the team ONE chance. If you're too fucking arrogant to think that a team can make a mistake, then you're going to only cause problems for everybody involved. Yes, Destiny is a really fucking bad idea to sign right now. But if a team did sign him, and they suddenly get 2k emails saying that if they continue to support and sponsor Destiny they'd be emaiing the sponsors to complain about his past behaviour, and making it clear that they won't support any team with him on, they'd very quickly change their minds. If a team sign destiny, your position is that you should immediately try to get everybody on that team to lose money, whether they were involved in the decision or not. Every single player, who won't have been consulted on the matter, EVERYONE. Without giving them a chance to do anything about it themselves, you're immediately and instantly going to try and cut their funding. You're a real nice guy. I'm so glad we have people like you in this community. You're going to fucking kill it stone dead.

To be honest, I personally sympathize more with Destiny because he was the lesser of two evils in my opinion. The conversation was bad, yes, but she got it by reading through his personal email/skype and randomly coming across it from what I understand. She complained that Destiny "betrayed her trust" but really she was reading through his personal messages before she even knew about the "betrayal". But what ROOT did was correct, it had to be done. Just a shame.

I dislike Destiny for his personality, the majority of his views and a lot of other stuff. But I share a lot of stuff with my close friends which could get me/them in trouble if it's leaked (talking about female friends/acquaintances would be the least of those problems). That woman from Destiny is crazy - reassures my opinion about women on the internet. Drama whores.
