As emotionally invested as people are on this topic, TL rules still apply. That includes flaming and ad hominem attacks. |

this situation is roughly this: any one of you non-RL-losers sitting at a caffe with two friends, talking and having fun, and then you show a naked picture of a girl that has the hots for you and gave the picture willingly. so you joke some more, finish your latte and move on with your life. only thing is, the girl has a bug on you, hears the whole thing, and decides she can ruin your life because she didn't like what you said.
grow up, lady. this is some serious stalker bullshit going on. so what he commented on your pictures with friends? don't give naked pictures to a married man in the first place, then you have no problem. hacking someone's skype and email for vengence is doing for you what exactly? if he had posted your pictures on reddit, go ahead, post his dick for the whole internet to see. otherwise, get a clue about life...
such unnecesarry drama Agreed. I dislike Destiny for his personality, the majority of his views and a lot of other stuff. But I share a lot of stuff with my close friends which could get me/them in trouble if it's leaked (talking about female friends/acquaintances would be the least of those problems). That woman from Destiny is crazy - reassures my opinion about women on the internet. Drama whores.
i also dislike Destiny, but for other reasons, perhaps somewhat subjective views of mine that he doesn't deserve so many stream viewers, etc.
but this could happen to any one of you guys, at least to the people that have some form of RL. i mean, what the hell did she expect? i know girls who wont let their boyfriends for 2+ years take such pictures. and to top it off, he didnt even distribute it on the internet. she's the one that fucked him over, and did the immature thing. how can so many of you just out of blind hatred for destiny defend her and even call her the victim is beyond me. imagine if a crazy stalker lady messed with your emails and skype. there is a thing called privacy. fucking respect it.

Root is still a write-off as a team because they don't actually disagree with anything that Destiny says. The entire article is a piece about how much they love him and how great he is but those goshdarn sponsors made us kick him out.
Sorry, Root, if you don't see a problem with Destiny and wouldn't disassociate yourselves from him on that basis alone you're still not worthy of any support from fans or sponsors.

I think the whole conversation is hallarious and thumbs up for destiny to not like attention whores !
Not sure why she had his password, that was quite a bad move when u talk about sth like this and send pics :D I hope Steven learns about his mistakes.

this is the last time i want to hear anything about destiny. adios

Steven can (and honestly at this point I think he should) press criminal charges.
That way dumbshits will think twice about hacking other people's email etc.

Man that skype conversation... most pathetic thing I've read in a while. Definitely wouldn't want any of those guys on my team.

Also, how did this get out anyway? Was it on stream?
And the d**k pics, why would she respond like that? I think that both of these people should be in trouble.
Destiny was having a personal chat with his 2 friends and someone screen capped it (not the pic, but the convo where it happened, as far as I know the pics didn't surface). Some think it's the girl herself who capped it. She used to kind of work for Destiny, and had some of his account passwords (this is just rumor as far as I know though).
Yeah, what she did was really worse, she distributed the pics to the entire internet. And hacked his accounts to do it.

I think it is quite funny that you try to evaluate the worth of ROOT for sponsors. They are not worthy of fan support? Who do you think you are, the pope?

But ROOT decided that for money, they would sacrifice Destiny for this....
ROOT isn;t jsut a group of friends playing sc2, it's a legitimate team and they're still up and coming. CatZ's friendship with Destiny shouldn't stand in the way of CatZ doing what's best for the team as a whole. if ROOT fails again, we'll have CatZ, Dwerbie, Fayth, Kiwikaki, Masa, PuCK, TOD, Fitzyhere, Major and Axeltoss(I don't really count rotti cause he has a career as a caster already ;P ) looking for a team again. if sponsors pull out becasue of this incident, the team is dead. if they don;t pull out, but other potential sponsors get hesitant about sponsoring the team, it'll die a slow, agonizing death.
CatZ made the right descision in letting Steven go. I really wish this wouldn;t have happened because I like Steven, but if you're putting an entire team, of close friends I might add, in very possible financial difficulty, you should bow out anyways.

Cant believe how fucking highschool level drama this story is...

The steps would be, Steven goes to either his local district attorneys office or tries to get her local distract attorney or tries to get the US Attorney that covers Louisiana or tries to get the US attorney that covers wherever he lives to actually act on this. Pretty sure they have other priorities.

Because the Holy Father is the final word on esports.

Given his TL.net ID, my money is on him not being the Holy Father.
Then again, one never knows.

I'm surprised ROOT wasn't ready for this. I kinda assumed that they knew things like this will occasionally come up if they sign Destiny up.

Just in case, the comment gets misunderstood(no religion bashing or anything). I could have worded it like, who do you think you are, the highest moral instance on earth?

O god this again. How much is enough?

As someone who generally enjoys Destiny's personality, intellect and outspokenness, I wholeheartedly agree. This shit is so dumb.

a couple of grown up friends are talking about girls in a private conversation?? the atrocity! we must alert the magistrate at once!
seriously, if you get all worked up about a couple of guys talking about girls in a private conversation, you don't have a life/friends (unless you're in fact a girl, in which case it's more than likely that you'd be talking about guys with your friends).
And I suppose you'd talk shit about a very close friend in public becasue he did something stupid? Chances are that if you did, he wouldn't even be a friend anymore. and you wouldn't even be worth the title of friend in the first place.
|
Destiny is a singularly low moral instance on earth, and should be expunged from the esports community. If you fail to recognize this, as ROOT demonstrated they had, you yourself demonstrate a low level of morality.
Sorry haters.
