Think before you post. This should go without saying, there are so many people making absolutely idiotic comments in this thread. If you have nothing constructive to say, please don't say anything. |

On the other hand I would love to see Stephano break the EG-curse, as he is probably the strongest foreigner out there p.t. I would love to see him go to IM or StarTales though. Would be nice to see him on Liquid aswell, but that's probalby never gonna happen

There is no such thing as a curse.
Huk not doing well anymore is his fault, not the team's.
I could name 12 teams, and half of them wouldn't have won anything big recently.

But none of them would have invested the money EG has put into the team so far...

And none of them would have gotten the insane ROI that EG has for their sponsors.
ROI > Wins to sponsors. Happy sponsors means more money in the scene. More money in the scene means better conditions for the players and a chance at legitimizing e-Sports.

For the sake of nothing being official yet; Stephano has stayed at the EG lair before.

They could make countdown movies and try to misguide us, like for huk

Maybe it's just Idra with a wig

And where do you think they got that money in the first place? From marketing their players.
Maybe if teams like Millenium did a better job at marketing, they could afford to pay players like Stephano the same numbers that EG does.

implying EG is not getting their worth back out of the players
trust me, they are

EGStephanoRC incoming! As long as he keeps doing what he's been doing the team change shouldn't hurt him. Players only start slacking on the practice because they let that happen.
|
Still no annoucement ? o_O I wonder what keeps EG from announce it...
|
Maybe the fact that he EG will not pick him up? maybe his real team is waiting for him to leave the EG lair before announcing it. Because honestly I can't see any reason as to why they would not have announced him 1 September. To try and make some hype maybe? Of course EG is still possible but... I'm having my doubts.

maybe they wait for monday?

EG is meta gaming us.
They had so much flak last time because of announcements of players and annoucements of announcements that they are not annoucing anythig this time. Stephano is their player, he plays at the lair, but they will not say anything :D

I remember how on live on 3 sirscoots was yelling at slasher for saying his sources were wrong. But with that recent video of Stephano streaming in the EG lair in idra's train, it really seems like there is a 80% chance stephano is going to be joining EG. But I feel like EG is going to be cutting a few more players, there SC 2 squad is getting huge. And no offense to Machine, or LZ gamer, and JYP to an extent, these guys haven't really shown results. Incontrol is safe because he does a lot of speaking stuff for EG and puts them in a positive image. He is the pretty face.
