EG isn't a team actually, it's more a corporation, sc2 players help for their marketing, it's all about the fame of the players

But TeamLiquid, as Nazgul said, is joined by players who are getting better by being in TL. EG just hires players and says "let'em play". I like TL's philosophy much better.
