I hope he stays for a long time and grows as a player and as a person (in terms of maturity) through that.

Have you SEEN Acer?! Its FIFTY PERCENT NATIONAL CHAMPIONS. Let that sink in. They made a hell of a run at IPLTAC too. Empire's good too of course... but I think Acer has got to be the new Mouze in my opinion. Edit: Heh, almsot forgot to post about the topic. Root is starting to really impress. They've built up their roster now, time to start delivering. I could see 2 root members in the top five at WCS NA, and that'd be a good start. I wore the Root banner for quite some time, only switching to EG 'cause it looks like HuK needs it. Best of luck to both parties!

And my point is that when it comes to gaming(or any sport...) there is so much more to it than just winning when it comes to financial success in this day and age. If I were to create a team and I could get a player with no personality, that isn't marketable, nobody wants to watch his stream, and can't represent a sponsor but wins, or I could get someone with some charisma and enough skill to be relevant I'd take the 2nd. Now you need to work so that you don't drop off the map to like diamond league, but to act like only players winning GSL are worthy of being on teams or getting sponsors is naive and shows a lack of understanding of the business and sponsorship world. I look at root and see a team that a lot of people enjoy following, enjoy cheering for. They almost seem like "the people's team." Maybe some of the players are controversial but better to be infamous than anonymous sometimes. I wish the team luck and I think they are putting together something pretty good. They might not have the team that large mainstream companies would sponsor but if I were a niche company, or someone a little more edgy or looking to get my name out in a different way in the gaming world I'd want to be attached to these guys if they continue building. And from there the bigger sponsors will hopefully come as the team develops. Good luck. Hope this pickup works out.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but ROOT has more players in the WCS than any other team atm, right?
