on that note any guesses to who the last player thats planned to be announced is? i am going to guess daisuki or gix just becuase diasuki doesn;t seem to have a team and got second in wsc usa. root seems to be picking up alot of players that have been competive in tournaments but not actually won anything too significant and also seems to be focusing on north american talent. so just feels like diasuki fits assuming he wants a team since i know he has a personal sponsership.
gix is a good player as well and was on the same team as slush and kiwikaki when on reign and root has really likes to have friends on the team so they might pick him up.
Not to be a dick but you really need more commas for people to actually read what you wrote.
On your point......well it's not about how often he changes team but rather how long did he stay with each......which is not very long.

he needs to practice at korea, team or no team if he wants to be the best. This guys personality is like a naniwa on steroids but he is definitely one of the better non-Korean Terrans ( besides Thorzain, most of them get rolled over by koreans )

MajOr has the talent and dedication to go far in this prestigious sport, all he needs to do is buckle down and practice. With ROOT behind him, I believe he can accomplish this goal. With that said I ROOT for ROOT.

to be fair this whole thread is a repost.

Hope he stays is a great player and, now root has the best Latin-american players, Viva México!

This will end funny imo^^

Here's hoping he decides to lay roots (pun unintended) in a team and develop with them. He has a lot of bad blood in teams he's left for attractive salaries--teams that sent him to events, trained him, spent a lot of man hours working out sponsor gear logistics. ROOT may be his time of realization that he's lucky to find another team that will take him in, and a good opportunity for behavior change. If he starts afresh training hard and sticking with a single team for a while, not breaking contracts, he'll do just fine.

VERY good pickup, major is insanely good and way underrated. Can hold his own against almost anyone.
|
He is an obvious talent, and I respect Roots decision to give the guy another shot. For any of you that follow the NFL, this seems to be somewhat paralleled by Terrell Owens with the Seahawks right now. Talented player with something to add, but has to show he is for the team not for himself, and definitely on a last chance with Root at this point.
I hope it works out fellas!

meh i dont know why anyone would pick him up tbh.
Everyone knows that as soon as he wins something, or shows some noteworthy results, he is just going to jump ship as fast as possible for anyone who will give him more money.
It has ALWAYS been the same story for Major. Everyone knows he is really good, everyone knows he is one of the best foreigners in SC2 atm. But everyone also knows that there is no point in trying to help him, because after he uses you he will jump ship as soon as he finds someone willing to give him more. he has 0 loyalty/respect for any organizations and that is why most teams refuse to pick him up, even though he is one of the best players on the scene.
at this point he would have joined ANY team that offered to support him financially, and int he future he will just quit another team and root will have wasted all of their time/energy/money supporting him
big fan of root, but i think picking up major, despite his talent, is a terrible idea.

Would be interesting if ROOT joins the GSTL sometime in the future.

Juan doesnt care about money. It's about playing in Korea. It's always been about playing in Korea. The guy is one of most humble and nice gamers I've ever been around. Hard headed a little, but money hungry is the last thing Juan is.

go go lets see what you can get from a mexican with just $10

Congrats to Major and Root.

Risky pickup given his past. As Artosis said a while ago - he does have a lot of talent... Could this be the opportunity he needs o_O? Hope so.
|
Maybe we'll see some more prominent tourney results from him through this deal?... Hope it all works out for everyone in the end.
|
Was waiting to see who would pick up Major, gratz to both parties!
