Quantic Gaming's StarCraft II division just got a little brighter.
Today we are very excited to announce that Cho "Golden" Myung Hwan, formerly of LighT eSports and SlayerS, is the newest addition to our StarCraft II team. Golden, a fan-favorite Zerg known for his playful and friendly demeanor especially on stream, has joined teammates Choi "TheStC" Yeon Sik, Kim "Apocalypse" Min Hyung, and team captain Kim "SaSe" Hammar as Quantic players in South Korea.
Before joining Quantic Gaming, you were a part of Light eSports. But that you are now back in Korea, why the choice to join another foreign team instead of a Korean team?
I wanted to join a foreign team because I really like playing in foreign tournaments and think they are good experience. I came back to Korea on Monday and will be living here... for now.
After your contract with LighT ended, what made you seek out to join Quantic?
When my contract with LighT was ending, I spoke to some members of Quantic. They spoke very highly of the team and that made me want to see if me joining was a possibility.

Sick pickup for Quantic. They needed a player of his caliber to replace Naniwa, and I think they've just about got it.

Holy Quantic batman, so many players. Good pick up though, I can definatly understand grabbing Golden while he is a free agent. Any chance we'll get to see three Quantic teams enter into the IPTL, you guys have enough players for that, right?

Good news for Quantic all around this week.
Golden is super talented, glad he found a nice home. He has a bit of a "mercenary" feel to me, and I don't even care. Love his playstyle. GLHF!

I was never really impressed by Golden, but that must be a personal thing for Quantic does see something in him. Grats to both and best of luck.

Yay glad to see golden on a new team. I pity his name won't be as awesome as golden light, but glad to see the hipster king on a new team. Does this mean quantic wants to take a shot at the gstl?

Very nice. Quantic has a great history of treating its players well and it should offer golden the perfect mix of support and freedom. Hopefully he'll be able to grow as a player with them.

Congrats, Golden! He really is a nice guy in person. Also has an unmistakable style with late game Z. That quick push/pull of ling/infestor/brood is crazy. Good luck with new team! ^_^
