I believe he'll become a free agent(something we begin to see more and more) and will probably stay in Mana's house in the near future. what
look i'm not a fan of naniwa as a person in the slightest bit, but he's gotten to the point where disrespecting his play is complete jibberish

I'm interested more in knowing who Quantic will go for to compensate for their loss. I hope they give more exposure and marketing to their NA squad ):

Do you seriously believe that the DRG in this booth was playing as good as DRG usually plays?
Edit: would be pretty awesome if some swede could translate his tweets since i dont think that this discussion is going anywhere without any further information.

I'm no expert in Swedish but he seems to say he is now team-less and broke.

i also think throwing two GSL RO8s in a row under the bus is stupid
let's also not disregard that this is the most zerg favored map pool we've ever seen and the most recent patch had some very drastic zerg buffs (though a little less significant vs p)
i'm not even a naniwa fan but i think you really have to have your head in the sand to disrespect his play like that

Sorry but if you're posting negatively about Naniwa in this thread then you're an esports drama queen. Your opinions about Naniwa's personality and past are not relevant here because all we know is that Naniwa left Quantic on good terms (and please don't say "no thats just PR they're covering something up"). Therefore you're bringin drama into a place it wasn't called for, so you're a drama queen. Even if you say something ostensibly on topic but then throw in a jab ("will be interesting to see where he goes but I don't think any teams will want him"), you're a drama queen. You are the reason people complain about this community and you are the reason pros and casters avoid the forums like the plague. So I hope you're proud that you've hopped onto the community's cancerous tumor even while calling yourself a fan of SC2. Please unfurl your panties and stop pretending to have reasonable and legitimate things to say. The mature thing to do is resist your urge to make a negative post.

I'm interested to see where he goes from here. Regardless of his personality, he's one of the most successful foreigners on the market and any team will be lucky to have him.
Korean team would be awesome - what kind of precedent is there for foreigners in Korean teams? I'm too lazy to go research it...

Looking at his RO8 runs they dont seem very impressive. His pvp is really really good(code s level),but thats it basically. His PvT looks somewhat okay but still not that proven, his pvz looks terrible. He is skilled but nothing particularly impressive imo. Also talking about favored map pool and zerg buffs when protoss have taken out DRG and symbol is kinda stupid. I dont want to call him trash and say he is not worthy of RO8 or something stupid like that, but insisting on it to be a prove of superb skill is wrong in my opinion. He is good, but not as good as some people would like him to be.

I have a degree in Psychology and going to have MA in Counseling so can I psychoanalyze Naniwa? Nope. Psychologists don't know the first thing about psychoanalysis. lol wtf is this It's a joke. No. No joke. Psychoanalysis is practiced by those who follow the teachings of Freud and pals. They are sometimes referred to as psychoanalysts and proper psychologists would have nothing to do with that sort of crackpot/pipe science. But that doesn't mean psychologists/psychiatrists don't understand psychoanalysis, as they do learn about it in school. Obviously Freudian psychology is not used today, as it has a lot of bullshit, but that doesn't mean they don't understand how it works ;p
Anyway, waaaay off topic, sorry

Zerg won GSL when Steppes of War was in the map pool. I guess that means that map is pretty good?
Anyway, you're just embarrassing yourself now. There's only so much you can spin 2 GSL Ro8's.

I completely agree, the quantic NA squad is a real flagship for homegrown talent so it'd be nice to see them grow

Am I missing something here? I'm not even going to tackle your opinion about Naniwa, I'm just wondering: when has someone from Prime ever won a GSL? (not counting Polt because he's no longer on the team)

I dont care where Naniwa goes but he cleary has shown from his past that he is not fit for a team.
I think its better off for him to get personal sponsorships just like MC (SK is a team but rather one man army).
But considering his behaviour i dont think any sponsor would be happy to do that.

Dont get the point of your first sentence.
True quantic has more time for upcoming talents like illusion or hawk! Is there anybody who would handout single player sponsorships except SK? and i believe Naniwa would need to participate in way more foreign tournaments for that to happen. I doubt anybody would sponsor him just for staying in korea and playing GSL
