Thanks for the great feedback guys! I have decided to make a part 2 of the "Starcraft 2 - Epic Moments Of All Time".
The reason why I did not add more content in the video, was that it would become too long (imo). I would like to have a video under 8 minutes, but if you guys really want me to, I could make a 15 minute video featuring all the epicness (all the games from this video + more goodies!) I could also make a sequel to this one, where I add the rest of the games that I did not add in this one. What would you like more? A) A new one with the rest of the epic moments, or B) a remake of the old one + rest of the epic moments added?

Hello TeamLiquid!
Almost two years has gone since the release of Starcraft 2. What are the most epic moments that have happened in that time? That is excactly what I will show you.
This is my first post on this forum and that is why I wanted it to be something special, something I give to you. That's why I made a Starcraft 2 movie! It contains the most epic battles in SC2 history since release. It is the first movie I have ever made and I used Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 to make it. If you want to know what the different battles are, please let me know and I will tell you. You can find the music that I used in the description (if you watch it on YouTube).
Also, as another bonus, I have added subtitles to the video for those who are having problems hearing what the casters say. It took me quite some time to do it, but it was worth it.

If you have any idea of what I can make next, please let me know. I had so much fun making it and I would appreciate if you could tell me what to improve on, what effects to add, which music and what content I should add in my future videos.
Love this video! and you add subtitle! since i'm a hard-hearing person that a great thing! :D the only thing it bugged me it's there is no HD but everything else is sooo nice!
noax: Yes, I am sorry, the quality is not the best, but it was hard to make it better. These moments were all captured on VODS and later on added to YouTube. It is hard to make the quality better when you can't take the footage yourself.
In IdrA vs HuK I had to download the replay and film it myself with Day9 as a voice over and I Photoshopped the MLG Nameplate (at the top of the screen) and added that to the video. The previous quality on that video was horrible, but I managed to make it better. Also, I had to make the quality the same on all of the games, or else it would look a little bit weird.
Pretty sure Day9 was trying his utmost hardest to maintain his composure in that second Idra game. Such a professional.. lol; I would've died laughing in front of the cameras.
Nice video but little short. I remember the game when Moon did 6 baneling bombs under marines and they were all miss. Also some MKP marine micro could be included. MC vs some protoss (Puzzle/Hero/Oz, cant remember) with craziest blink stalker vs blink stalker battle. Freaky's infestors in ZvZ and vs Bomber's battlecruisers.
Great video for people that haven't seen many starcraft tournies before. My only criticism would be that the clips in the first half of the video are kinda overplayed (already seen them so many times), but I suppose a newbie would enjoy seeing them.
Some advice for future videos would be to choose music that fits the clip more, for example in the idra GG clips there is epic orchestral music playing which imo doesn't really suit those particular clips (Someone prematurely GGing isn't really an 'epic' event, more of a unexpected surprise). So you could have more variety of music to suit the individual clips.
And lastly some more advanced video editing in the transitions (and intro) would be cool, at the moment it's just basic text on scree/fading between clips.
I'm just giving my opinion so feel free to ignore this if you don't agree.
Proud to say I watched every single one of those live, somewhat missing the MMA vs DRG finale, but otherwise I think you got most of the legendary ones
Leenock's trap against DRG this weekend could very well fit in there as well
It's sad that SC2 doesn't have as many pimpest play moments. That last match was awesome, too bad Blizzard is going to nerf the archon toilet again. We can't have good things.
mm did not have Nestea hold v sc game 5, that was just amazing, and the mma v drg game should have somehow featured, but still a good collection of omfg moments. Still love that vortext blowing bcs to nothing and th vrays, storms, archons, just crazy awesomeness
A lot of gret memories, unfortunately (I guess fortunately too) there are still a lot more greater moments that you haven't put in! Nice video though. Never saw BoxeR vs Ganzi that was a treat!
A bit surprised that the Blizzard Cup Finals last few moments weren't included; that last stand against the broodlords in amongst all of the barracks. Other than that didn't seem to miss anything.

Nestea hold vs sc in the last game cannot be captured in just a few short clips. One actually has to watch the whole series and the last match in particular. Sc had the upper hand the whole game and was doing so much while Nestea seemed helpless.
A clip wouldn't show how far ahead Sc was the whole game.
I feel like you left basically everything from 2012 except Squirtle v. MVP, unless i am forgetting something. I would have liked to see Thorzain's victory celebration over Polt at Dreamhack, some MKP v. DRG action as it was probably the biggest rivalry in Sc2 for about 6 months, just to name a few and no NesTea MC.
Thats some sick clips dude! But the quality is just terrible And IMO the music is to loud, I prefere to hear the crowd screaming, even though the music is epic.. Dont get me wrong, I had nerd chills through the entire thing either way.. ;P
Day9 actually says torrent, not torn, in the hallucinated void ray clip. Other than that and the previously mentioned music incongruousness, I can't think of a single thing I don't like about this video. Brilliant compilation.
I loved it but you should have really put in the TLO vs Hyperdub game on Xel' Naga from one of the first GSLs where TLO used nukes as shields to prevent Hyperdub from attacking his army.
EDIT: Also, "taht's Halo don't worry " should be in there.
I had the pleasure of watching the MVP vs Squirtle archon toilet live at the event, and omg it was the most epic thing ever.
Also I would have put in MKP vs Stephano, where MKP has the seemingly unbeatable army, and Stephano fungals everything and it evaporates in about 3 seconds.
Great video. Music is a little loud, however. Part of the awesomeness is listening to the casters' reactions. When I can't hear Artosis' yelling over the music, something is wrong.
You should edit the sound so that the casters have even volume the entire time. I would have liked more clips in general, and a little more variety, and probably space out the idra leaving games clips a bit (or just include one instead of all of them). Would certainly have been nice to see some pimpin' zerg moves. Also, reference this heavily

Every time I look at the IdrA v HuK game I feel like the gg was justified and that Huk would have taken out IdrA's army easily and gone on to won, voidrays or no.

I loved the video but you left out so many other epic moments.. What about HuKs hold against moons banelings in DH finals? The foward spinecrawler? Fruitdealer finals? (had a great storyline) Air terran Boxer vs rain MLG? Nerchio (I think) saving the hatch with like 15hp from DT's using drone micro? Alicia blocking the orb from landing using dt's? MMA drops tanks on DRG's infestors?

imo, Fruitdealer's run was legendary and epic on its own
i might have some bias here, but i think Hero's amazing hold down 60 supply with 45 (died) and 49 kill immortals in the IPL ToC Game 4 against Life should be included. those 2 literally salvaged the game for him
If that last clip of the MVP/Squirtle game doesnt show that Tasteless is still one of the best casters in the game, I dont know what does. His "Oh My God!!!"s in the background were as big a source of nerdchills as the game itself :D
Good video. Terrible quality. Would have rather seen you try to capture clips from replays instead of ripping YouTubes and whatnot. CS6 seems like overkill for this basic of movie. Hope you didn't pay.

Tips for future movies:
Don't go overboard with effects. Let the gameplay stand on its own. Sync the music better. Utilize 1080p source footage.
Great video thanks for making this I enjoyed watching it.
Some of the highlights I don't really agree with though. I guess all the moments shown in the video were great for memories and stuff but things like MMA killing his own CC isn't really an epic moment in terms of actual gameplay. Or idra ragequitting from hallucinated voids...those things I remember but to rewatch or relive through a video doesn't really do anything for me. I guess I'm just too used to broodwar highlight videos which were highlights because of kickass gameplay.
Epic moments and memories in the game for me should be made around gameplay, not the other way around.
While the rage quits are certainly memorable, I don't think they are "epic moments". I guess when I read "epic" I'm thinking of the last few clips (the multi nuke, the vortex on the BCs). Still, always great to see someone creating content!
This as an awesome little review of some of the best moments, definitely remember every single one of them. I love how every one that involved Idra had to do with him fucking something up :D. Also there was one battle between two koreans at an MLG a while back that I thought should be in there, I can't really remember who exactly it was between but I am almost positive it was between at least one set of these guys, MMA, BOXER, BOMBER, MVP. I am almost positive it was boxer vs one of those three. But there were a ton of BC's and vikings and I just remember being like 'holy shit I have no idea what is going on. There is just shit exploding everywhere' it was definitely one of the best moments in sc2, at least for me.
Oh my god, that Day9 - DjWheat moment after Idra vs. MMA just gets me everytime. Their reactions are just priceless. I love how you timed the music for that. Only complain would be that it would be nice if the audio of all those VOD´s had the same volume level, but other than that really well done. Awesome work!

so siiiick! Finally someone added the amazing ending of Squirtle vs MVP game on Metropolis. Probably the most intense SC2 moment what i have ever seen (even bigger than Kiwikaki's momma play or mvp's nuke play against TOP). Thanks for that and i cannot wait for another of your videos. So sick!
Various clips from destiny (the huge baneling bomb in 2v2, his underground assault with roaches in 2v2 and his amazing fungals vs. spanishiwa in 1v1 stream)
The GSL game where it was a PvP, proxy 2 gate, and it ended up as a baserace with like 1-2 stalkers vs. 4 zealots, and the stalkers just kite them to death (someone here should know the name of that game)
Dragons nuke that kills like 160 units (TvZ 1v1 from MillDragons stream)
NesTea killing thors with only banelings in the GSL (you can find it on youtube)
Needs Nestea vs SC game 5 and Symbol vs Partings absolutely amazing engagement.
Also Moon's fail Baneling landmines and at least one Bit by Bit should make it in there, those are legendary fail tactics that should be included
I think it was Alicias (? might be wrong) Troll DT that stopped a command center from going up for a full minute while killing a couple SCVs and still dodging a scan would be epic to include as well.
Needs: MC vs ThorZain in TSL3 (Clutch feedbacks and cloaked ghosts) MC vs Puma in NASL3 (Warp prism bait into storm drop) MC vs Squirtle in GSL (MC loses artosis pylon and wins anyways)
Maybe not relevant because it wasnt a big tournament final, but epic nevertheless ... Only game where I have seen a zerg building a mothership !!! .... :D
