DarKFoRcE played quite well in taking out Nerchio + Show Spoiler +would matter anyway as Titan already beat Nerchio in a Zotac. Unless were only going to make it prolific online tourny specific.

No, the rules explicitly state that the game has to be "LAN". Nerchio's next defense should come up at IEM.
EDIT: Added quotations marks around LAN :D.

This is a cool project. Add some pictures/ graphs to the OP to make it prettier, so the thread stays around longer, perhaps?

that's really cool, i don't know if it could work with starcraft though with as many games that are played. and i guess it'd have to be offline head-to-head too! there are so many teams and players that there'd be way too many challenges in a game that can be very unpredictable~
maybe in a designated country like korea where only the top 30 rank players may compete? what could it be called? :D the darkforce chitinous plating?
it could change with whichever race won it too, haha

I was trying to create a version that included online events/cups, but there are a lot of matches (and some time in the middle of 2011 I realized that I had forgotten about TLPD Korean v. International >_<)... would anyone be willing to help? It seems like a couple people think that such events should count...

Problem being that Fruitdealer won the "unofficial world championship" in a Bo5 (or was it 7?) whereas you list Bo1 matches lateron.

Since the op decided to use football as a reference point I'm gonna point out the whole logic is flawed, the last team to beat Spain in a competitive match was USA in 2010 (I'm actually a Football journalist/blogger) so with the logic used in the list USA in the best soccer team in the world? No.
