Unless I'm missing some foriegn tournament where the prize money is affected by how many people pay to enter the venue. The point is foreigners have this "we must make esports grow" mentality, when Koreans are not willing to pay for esports entertainment. This also attracts sponsors for teams, which means higher salary for players.

His status on the team is a purely internal matter, it doesn't affect his GSL appearance tonight.....why is a press release needed? I can only think of two reasons. 1. To explain why a player of MMA's stature was demoted 2. To harm and shame MMA. Since they intentional left out the reason, its seems clear they simply wanted to hurt him. Am I missing something? I just don't see how this is defensible from Slayers standpoint.... they could have kept it quiet, but they didn't want to. They wanted to give out no information, other than to shame and hurt MMA before this code A match.

People who point the finger at Jessica with this lack of information either know something other people don't or are just plain prejudicial.

You really think all the people pointing fingers at Jessica are credible enough to consider their speculation seriously?

If the news broke later and they hadn't said anything, there would be a much bigger controversy.

He was suggesting the majority of people are the latter. I think it's not a horrible assumption that Jessica probably was negatively involved here; she's had two ridiculous public outbursts in the past, hasn't she? I don't recall specifically, but one was at the online community in general.

Right, they don't have any evidence at this point, they're just basing it on the past, and since there is no evidence, that tends to be what people do. Whether that is right or wrong, well, that's not the point, I guess.

There is no way they could keep something this big a secret.
