+ Show Spoiler + Slayers just beat Liquid in the IPL TAC 3, so they are now top 3 for certain. Now IPL allows the top 4 teams of TAC to send a player to IPL 5. Could it be that Slayers decided to send someone other than MMA, and MMA was unhappy with that decision? Keep in mind that MMA has been incredible consistent at IPL, finishing top 4 both IPL 3 and IPL 4. | ||

Wasn't there also an issue that MMA's mentor/coach within the team (can't remember the name), went to a KESPA team. Bear in mind that this was the guy that supposedly planned his builds for all of his big tournament performances except for Iron Squid, so without him there's one less thing tying MMA to Slayers? | ||

I realise it's stacked player wise already but the guy's a big draw for their viewership | ||

I think IPL just added that clause to protect itself from Slayers sending a player like Eve or Cella (no offense), who aren't up to the level of competition, and would ruin the integrity of their major event. Basically IPL would want MMA to come to IPL 5 because he has shown quality games and high level play, and out of the entire Slayers roster, he can probably pull viewers better than anyone except possibly Boxer. But it wouldn't be surprising if Slayers decided to send Puzzle (great teamleague player) or Alicia (2nd at MLG, 2nd at NASL, hopefully 2nd at IPL 5 for the NA Triple Kong-Crown?) over MMA based off of recent form. | ||
