Please stop with the jokes/posts that speculate something sexual or scandalous is at play here. They do not contribute to discussion and are generally of very poor taste. |

Have to say all the "It's Jessica/Eve related or at least related to a 'girl'" is pretty sickening. :/ Misogyny ftl.

Oh god, this thread turns into something VERY funny ... even tough the topic itself isn't all too funny, let's hope they will release some info on why MMA was demoted to the B-Team

I hope the best for him, either he'll stay in Slayers or if I'd get what I'd wanted, he'd team up with Genius and viOLet and form a superteam. If he chooses to leave I I'd probably stop cheering for Slayers. Violet sounds out of place to me on that team. He doesn't follow the vibe that MMA and Genius set.
Personally, it'd be awesome to see MMA go to Mouz - no wait, that sounds dirty. Liquid? That sounds awkward. Empire, no. EG, no. It all sounds too dirty. The only place that MMA belongs is Slayers. Along with Boxer, he is slayers.

I don't think the truth will ever come out, unless MMA says it himself. But I hope we get some statement from either Jessica or MMA soon?!

Then you have a large logjam with Jjajki, Gumiho, aLive, Keen, MMA, Ryung who all show they can compete with the very best but just not as consistent.
Poor Polt, maybe not the very best terran, but he is at the top

This year he has won an IEM and the Ironsquid, he will come back as soon as blizzards fixes TvZ

MMA is a great player, might have been something to do with his conduct, but I highly doubt they would cut him off before his contract ends. Even after, I belive SlayerS would try to do everything in their will to attempt to keep MMA on board, either way, I don't think this will stay as is, and I believe MMA will prosper as a progamer where ever he choses to stay, GL to him and I hope this gets settled asap.

Polt isn't anywhere near the top. I don't think he can ride his Super Tournament win any further. He hasn't had any other big success.
And I agree on that top 4, but I disagree with lumping MMA in with the others, he's significantly ahead of everyone else in that list in terms of accomplishments and sustained an extremely high level of skill for more than half a year. Jjakji had one fleeting success, but has yet to prove it wasn't a fluke in my eyes.
And Keen? Sure he looks amazing every now and then, but then he just crumbles and goes back to being a gatekeeper.

QuanticMMA or LG-IM_MMA if anything happens, i don't think MMA would do that well living abroad so he might want to have StarTale house as his new place.
Anyway, anyone thing EG curse is reaching SlayerS? XD

Polt hasn't been doing to much lately, he's focusing on GSL to try to get back into Code S which is why he hasn't done much lately, in the beginning of the year till like may he was hitting all the foreign tournaments not winning all of them of course but still doing well and placing high in them. I do agree until we see his efforts in code s and until he starts hitting Code S top 8's he hasn't shown much lately.

"MMA hasn't won anything recently" maybe you should check the premier tournament page and come back and tell me a few months isn't recent? MMA over the past half-year has been one of the most dominate players. He won Blizzard Cup, won IEM, won Iron Squid and has placed high in a few other tournaments as well. He just hasn't been consistent.
It's really unsettling that people completely dismiss a player's results over a few months. There aren't an infinite amount of major tournaments for these players to win so to win one, much less multiple, is a big accomplishment. MMA will rightfully deserve the amount of money he asks for if he chooses to go to a foreign team.
