If MMA is a bad player, then there isn't a single good player in SC2. This is a GSL champion we are talking about. If you don't see MMA's value as a player, then I'm not surprised that you aren't running any major teams :p

He is not quite at the level he used to be but he is still far from being as bad as you make him out to be. I think plenty of teams would still want him, though he might have to accept a lower salary.

do the Slayers players even have much of a salary to start with? I didn't think korean teams had all that much money to throw around, and earnings was almost purely based on individual winnings?

Salaries are reserved only for the top top players like Nestea and MVP though I could see MMA and DRG warranting them. Slayers is probably second only to IM in terms of money though, so they should all be pretty stable.

Yes he's won tournaments this year but IEM Kiev was in January (when he was still the best in the world) and basically free money for him.
Iron Squid is the only good thing he's done in a long time and around his Iron Squid win he's been knocked out of Code S, failed to do well at other foreign tournaments this year (losing to Goody at MLG and Sen at that Chinese tournament).
Someone will want MMA but six months ago he'd have gone to the highest bidder with every team in the world wanting him. I think that teams like EG, Complexity and SK (i.e the teams with the big money) might just think twice about signing a guy who imo does not look like winning a tournament again anytime soon, especially as his wage demands are sure to be pretty damn big.
