If it's AcE (which is looking very probable with all the cutesy warp prism shenanigans into losing the game), then he was in Code S this season, got knocked out Ro32.
I wished I had known this was gonna happen today. Only caught the last 5 mins of the final match. SHy seems pretty good at PvP though. I kept thinking about how most current SC2 pros would have charged into their opponents base during that final battle after getting ahead and trying to go for the kill. But he just sat back in the natural like "nah man I'm fine with killing all your buildings and workers, you come fight me when you're ready."
I've noticed in general that a lot of the Kespa players are very patient about how they move armies in SC2, putting their opponent in a position where they're gonna take damage or get into a worse position over time. I hope we see more of that!

I would not rate Ace as top 10 P in SC2. He has been in Code S briefly last season, but I'd still put him in Startale's B team.
Why would you say that? He plays regularly in GSTL and has constantly good results.
He has pretty mediocre PvP, but everyone in the GSL has good matchups against everything because they had to go through all the qualifiers and stuff. Shy just played really well
Not commenting on whether he was B team or A team but Ace played REALLY bad in those games... he doesnt seem to understand the matchup all that well. I wouldn't judge Shy by those games but that obviously means he isn't too bad.

Woongjin always chooses Soulkey as their Ace player so does that mean Soulkey > Shy which also might imply that if Soulkey is better than Shy then theres a lot of Kespa players that can seriously compete with GSL players. Just an implication though based on Shy winning and Soulkey always being choosed as Ace.
SoulKey is regarded as one of the best SC2 players. In one of his PL interviews he mentioned how he was disappointed that he played poorly at MLG. He actually never practiced ultra+ling+infestor style, but after seeing Stephano play right before his match he was inspired and excited to try it out. He said it was harder than he thought it'd be. Also, Flash looked good during that tournament so no real shame there.

Korean casters doesn't know who the players were. Gisado was speculating that the play style resembles reminds him of Ace.
I'm almost sure that it was two from ST and two from Woongjin though. So, the Terran is most likely Bomber.
LOL no way in hell was that Bomber. Bomber is much better than that. Not to mention he explicitly said in his twitter that he wasn't playing. Also, he was streaming when this was going on.

Well there wasn't any really good GSL players playing, so it's pretty odd to say such thing...
Well if it was ACE he is at least decent and i might as well say that sHy isn't the best of the best from the Kespa players as well , although he is pretty good .

Please. If this was, in fact, AcE, then the last big finish he had was in March 2011 at an IEM...He's a decent Code A player but I wouldn't even put him on ST's A-Team.

Because they dumb.
As far as Kespa vs Gom, unfortunately the Gom players were far from their best. I think I said way back when this was announced, but this hasn't decided anything except that Kespa players can compete with the lower end of Gom players. Since Gom didn't put their best out (and since I only watch the "famous" BW players playing SC2 in proleague I dunno if they were best) all this does is add more fuel to the "BW PLAYERS GONNA GET YOU" vs "WAIT UNTIL THEY PLAY VS NESTEA/MVP/PARTING"

lol they beat some CODE A players.. big deal..
Place them to play MC / DRG / Polt etc..
Well, Shy isnt exactly the top player in BW......
BW doesnt really matter at this point If you actually thought that guy would compete with an MC type player then you are kind of crazy. Not saying it is bad that they couldnt but they have not had enough time yet.

You always look bad if you lose. Doesn't mean you are a bad player.

You're actually not giving any money to KeSPA or OGN.
He means he would. He prefers to pay but get decent coverage.
Well seeing as this was put on by GOM he's still looking to the pay the wrong people
Heh yeah. Which reminds me - who were these casters?? And also, I never thought about that, but how good are the OGN casters in SC2 for the Proleague? Because the BW casters also have 2 years to catch up with, compared to experienced SC2 casters.

Problem is GSL players have been pretty cocky and bigheaded about it as well. They've always said that KeSPA players won't be anywhere near their level for at least a year. Hope its a wake-up call for them and they practice harder as well.

A 31% win rate means he is bad at PvP. And it is very possible to look good and still lose
