like LLL.Orly who was top5 EU ladder before his finals or Feast that finished 4th at IEM world... that would change the "usual players" a bit

I think that's a good reason.

Would Protosser and fraer have received invitations for this tournament if it weren't for their success in DreamHack? And if it weren't for DreamHack's open registration how long do you think it would have taken for them to break out? They aren't 100% invite based, they added 2 qualifier tournaments this time. 8 out of 32 players come from those.

This worries me a bit, I have to say. Don't think it'd be as splendid as, for example, they'd get the ESL crew to do it. Not sure why they thought GDStudio would be an good choice. Time will tell, I feel train wrecks coming our way though.

Evn if we consider DeMusliM to have had good results lately with the WCS, IdrA has been in the depths of hell since a long time ago. The rest of the invites are fine even if NightEnd is a enigma. And please make sure that fraer and TiTaN play their games first should they be in the same group. We don't want lame excuses this time. Naama didn't get invited, he qualified at Vectorama(over players like elfi, Welmu and Protosser (and me :D)). And well, IdrA and DeMusliM are fan favorites :p I'm hoping IdrA does well again, scene needs persons like him.
