I kinda lost a bit of respect for BoxeR..and not just him. any other pro who complains and just half arse the game because terran are having a hard time. although I do understand it's frustrating since it's their job to do well. | ||

That bugs me because it's totally from a skewed view on things... + Show Spoiler + i don't understand? there were what, 15 patches tops (balance wise and tweaks like 1.xx a/b/c) in BW total? Playing terran which gets nerfed all the time after doing just that, "being innovative", is pretty depressing, demoralizing. And spoon-fed? Terran has been nerfed (justifiably and debatably justifiably) since the very first balance patch in SC2 and we've seen some stupid buffs on the other end (trivial upgrade buff translates to "GEE protosses should get upgrades more", 5range queen says "build queens, acquire early-game advantage"). We see no such nudges on the Terran end - most everything that has been popular has been executed with what they were given, debatably better off than the other races but hey, your point was that Terrans haven't been innovative and i'm going to say what the fuck man. And on boxer switching, I don't even know what to think about that. | ||

How many times did the blizzard balancing team fuck things up in BW ?? There was one big patch in 2001 and then that's it. Nothing else changed, there wasn't anyone to force players to play this way or that way, the only thing that affected balance between 2001 and 2012 was the maps. Whenever they patch something, they're actually huting the pros, who play the game to earn their living. Also boxer actually switched from protoss to terran when they changed the imabalance with reaver shuttle play. You could drop the reaver, it would shoot instantly and then you could pick it up again in the blink of an eye. The very reason he's that famous is because he was winning with terran when every other pro was either zerg or toss. Some guy actually had an old poster from 2000 - 2001 i think, where there were no terrans at all. I remember seeing HOT forever and garimto on it; not sure tho. | ||
