-It'll probably be in a narrow timeslot. -As soon as a caster curses or says something inappropriate we're off the air. -Hardly anyone is going to tune in. -The broadcast will be delayed. Other than that it's pretty cool!

Just enjoy something and be happy about it I'm pretty good at recognizing whether something is legitimately exciting, or whether something it going to be horribly marginalized. Nothing I've read so far indicates the former, and the American audience indicates the latter. If there aren't millions of people talking about this around their watercoolers, it's going to be on a fringe channel, probably for pay-per-view.

I guess for the sake of advertising and just getting the event out there it'll help, but everything is coming to the internet right now. Tv series are being streamed and uploaded to official company channel owned websites, the latest tv's come with internet capability (that should be the biggest hint). I see the good in it, but i also hope nothing bad comes of this. Best of luck to MLG in this, I want to see you guys succeed! Gotta agree on that. I suspect the most important thing from this will be drawing in TV advertisers who are afraid to dip their toes in the internet pool. But maybe it will drag them in, even if the TV broadcast isn't extremely successful.

So, CBSi has an exclusive partnership with MLG only now? They're not partnered with IPL, DreamHack, GSL, IEM anymore? What about that 96% advertisement market?

No way they show SC2 on it at this stage... they don't even show high profile NBA games more than once a month on network TV. I'm guessing it will be on one of the smaller channels CBS undoubtedly owns... but nonetheless very exciting.
