And some people try hard , not to think how much 13 years really is , its half life for i think 50% ( or even more then 50% ) of TL community , for some people even more then half of thier life. Changes are good , you wanna watch BW whole life ? With the same graphics , same players etc etc ? Things must evolve , deal with it.

On the upswing, look at what great of a movement you've been part of, and how incredibly long its run was. All good things must come to an end. At least there is a successor, imperfect as it may be at this time.

I wonder if the Golden Mouse will switch over as well. I feel its something that should stick with BW. Stick with Nada, Flash, Jaedong, and July. But thats just my love for BW showing. It would be nice to see MVP continue his dominance and get one himself though. If that is the case i can't wait to see what they have in store for us. Maybe Boxer giving the final OSL trophy? :O

I'm going to miss the great BW OSL moments such as Boxer vs. Iloveoov, and the most recent finals in Jangbi vs. Fantasy. Nothing can replace that spectacular play in my mind, but hopefully there are great things to come with the new OSL. I know I was cheering at the end of IMMvp vs. ST. Squirtle in the GSL, and as a lover of all things E-Sports, I know I'll be cheering just as passionately for the winner of future competitions to come.

The format changed from season to season, but I believe it was like the top 12 or something got seeded into Round 2 and 3 respectively. Prelims gets 16 players + 5-12 placing from previous OSL got placed into a Dual Tournament with 24 players (6 groups and the GOM style group format - winners vs winners (winner advances, loser plays winner of losers match for 2nd spot in group), losers vs losers (loser gets eliminated), ). From there, 12 players (top 2 of each group) would advance and meet the 1-4 placing in 4 regular groups (which means everyone played everyone). Then top 2 of each group would advance to playoffs (Ro8). I'd imagine the format will change for OSL SC2 though. Importantly also, the group stages were usually Bo1s and Ro8 to finals were all Bo5.
