Mostly they were jokes, or people saying that they had what it took for them to become big. And we have yet to see. I'd rather have them play BW for two-three more years. :< Many posted that they did think that though ![]()

I understand people worrying that that the BW pros will not stand a chance in the new OSL but people are right to say it needs to be the highest quality to compete. I don't want to watch a league just for the names - the novelty wears off after a few games and you're just left with substandard play. The best players will no doubt catch up within a few months, so what does it matter if they can't really compete this time round? On the upside it's great news for SC2 fans that we will be getting another Korean league. The foreign market may be a bit oversaturated but in Korea GSL just can't provide enough content on its own, especially towards the later stages. I imagine we will see more Koreans staying at home rather than going to foreign tournaments since they'll have a lot less free time. I hope the high OSL production values will carry over and that there will be some healthy competition with GSL ![]()

![]() Anyways, it's still a better transition than what Proleague did. And since foreigners are able to participate, maybe it will be streamed on more reasonable hours than 3 am CEST. Let's see if SC2 will outrun LoL in viewer numbers now and Carmac will be proven wrong ![]()

There is absolutely no way in hell that the BW players can catch up to the korean SC2 pros in such a short period of time. I was hoping for one SC2 season for BW players only, to give them more time. This way they'll get crushed and the fanbase will wander off in disappointment.

Maybe in 10 years SC2 will be half as good as BW was and watching a game of it won't be boring as fuck. Also, of course: Congratulations SC2 fans! Yet another SC2 tournament to follow. How many are there already? Dreamhack, MLG, IPL, IEM, fake SPL and fake OSL, that's at least 6 major tournaments. (edit: to clarify, this is not sarcasm) I'm fucking mad about this stupid shit, but I sincerely hope that SC2 can become something much better than it is today. Hope that in 3 years I will look back and say that I was overreacting and that SC2 wasn't the shit I thought it was. Unfortunately you won't look back and find it better than you thought it was, since you've already decided that you dislike the game :/
