I hope SC2 will flourish in Korea with the switch though, so it's not all a waste.

We found it out after yesterday's ro16 tiebreakers ended with a short montage and a message 'Last Champion'. Which is very ironic considering the motto of the ODT was 'New Beginning, Not the End'. Not the end my ass

Hope this unites both communities and hopefully with the release of Hots and coming of kespa players, BW fans will accept this and join the SC2 larger community!

This is good, now the players can just fully focus on SC2 (when this Proleague comes to an end) and they will probably catch up faster.

this is something we've known for a long time. but if you think this is good news for sc2, it's not - sc2 is beginning to go down the same path already.
you will never reach the heights of the golden 2004-2008 age of BW - the best game ever created. sc2 wont even get anywhere close.
