I've heard reports of that before but I don't know how to explain them. Every time I think that the MMR reset didn't work because I hear reports stating that, I hear other people say that it was successful. This happens every season. | ||

I think that the reset might only work if you haven't played ladder at all last season, including arranged team games (which I played a lot of in season 7). All the successful resets that I've read about have skipped one season altogether, including arranged teams. That's the only explanation that I can think of, besides the one that the system randomly decides whether to reset or not. Unless of course there are players who played team games and still got reset, which wouldn't surprise me. | ||
