You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody.
Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. |

If you even followed the thread a little bit, you would have known that some of the GM hackers got bannedshortly after the report done on the battle net website (24-48 hours).Right now, none of the GM hackers that were reported (the day before this week's reset) have logged in in few days... I believe blizzard is acting fast for the GM, and plans on banning the lower people on their next massive ban. I would reconsider saying this thread is useless as it's mainly used to collect bunch of replays of the same players in order to make a full and viable report. They are not banned shorty after the report. I know for a fact they are just removed from the GM ladder pool. As Blizzard does not ban people indvidule. They ban only in waves, and been doing that for years. I know they several of the accounts mentioned are still active and kicking. So please do some more research before asumming they got banned because you reported them, They did not. Also. I stated a Team liquid mod should make a sticky for these kinda of threads, as 95% of the post in this thread is just whinny qq post or blaming blizzard post, which is not wanted on these forms. Everyone is already aware of hacking. Its nothing new on blizzard games or online in general. Or instead of making a brand new thread like this, Post in one of the already opened ones. We do need multi of these threads. I'm glad the mods closed the other map hack threads that were open last night. And i'm not "defending hacking" I hate hackers to, But I use team liquid site to get away from qq post that are spamed across battle.net websites. Team Liquid is not a place to cry about map hackers. Ask a mod if they re open the report thread, We used to have a sticky that allowed us to post player accounts who are cought map hacking to make the community aware. We dont need these threads that honestly ARE filled with blizzard hate and qq. We already know what the OP has posed. There is several Threads already opened on this subject on the first page of this Forum.....No one comes to Team Liquid to read the first 4-5 post about hackers. We only need 1 Thread, And people who comes to tl wants to see post about whats going on in the E-sport/pro community not map hackers on the ladder. Which has been going on since like what ? 1998 starcraft 1??

Same for ReDz, but those people were only high masters, which isn't a top priority for anyone I believe.

Can a MOD IP check this guy and ban the smurf as this is "lightpwnr". I can already assure you they have same IP as this person PMed me from both those names when he was being accused few weeks ago.
Second, those claims are invalid, screenshot isn't clear at all, and VOD isn't clear either. Please provide replays of the games as I want to see players vision and what they look at/click at, etc.

I still fail to see what the screenshot means. Some people talking about hacks, but who are they? A forum banner can also link any players account so can't really judge based on that either.

The guy is a hacker and he certainly is not pretending to be someone else, he has posted replays before months ago

Hey guys. I found another maphacker today while laddering. At this point he is somewhere around mid masters so I figured it appropriate to post it here, particularly since this thread gains so many views.

Alright so I've included the replay, and I mean this guy isn't even remotely good at hiding it. Consistently looking at my base through fog of war, countering me perfectly, etc. I'll list a few key moments that, if you watch the replay, will 100% confirm he is a maphacker.
1. Sends a reaper to my base w/o scouting on a 4 player map (antiga).
2. Looks at my 1/1/1, thinks it's cloakshee and builds a turret, looks back a moment later to see it's not, cancels turret.
3. Sends his army to intercept my scouting marine, once again without vision.
4. Sends his army to intercept my push without vision, handily defeats it and gives me a pre-emptive gg (yea, this guy needs to be banned).

Past season record, and high master is/will be top 300-400 server wide in terms of points.

Just so people know, Venusaur/lightpwnr is still playing - he's also been competing in Playhem dailies, as recently as today. The admin kicked him out when he found out, but if his account hasn't been perma-banned from playhem yet, that's a problem and something they should rectify ASAP. Proven maphackers shouldn't be able to join online tournaments for obvious reasons - or at the very least, they shouldn't be able to do it so blatantly.

Last I checked he wasn't top masters, if he climbed i'll def look into it. I'll look at Trench replay shortly as well, thanks!

I just did a little research because he denied it in-game, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and watched the replay and took note of a few things.

1. 14:23 scan burrow banes... what?
2. 15:00-15:25, rally marines to go around creep he never even knew was there (unless he hacked), note he doesn't try to drop behind mineral line at 3rd (crawlers are there waiting)
3. 21:22, Scans a burrowed ling before his command center gets to "fail landing".
4. 23:00-23:08, looks into fog of war to see lings heading to his 5th base, instantly decides to stim his entire army towards his command center.
5. 25:10, 2nd time he killed my watch tower ling entire game, decides not to take the watchtower.
6. 26:50, stims forward to kill broodlords without scanning or anything, but my units are out of position somewhat.

More like you completely missed the point of my post. I know the purpose of the thread. That doesn't change the fact that threads like these have only increased the hack paranoia in the community and its pretty obvious.
