So, everyone knows this guy hacks. Yet, he has over 6.5K games played: reporting is obviously futile. I personally find this game troubling/sad, though, because he is playing in a way more legit way than a lot of hacking pros/semi pros are. 1, he scouted me with a probe. 2, not only did he use hallucinations but he looked at them :o I'm still in shock that there was a probe in my base, yet it wasn't for making cannons. I don't want the guy banned because I find it cute that despite everyone in GM knowing he hacks, he at least "made an effort." And, after 6.5k games, have to give him some credit... That said, if we're going to allow players to hack for years on end, when anyone above gold league knows what they're doing, can we please try to find a way to have them benefit the scene? IMO, this guy and people like him, who are relatively harmless (don't play in tournaments) should have to submit their replays to either Blizzard or some group of people that are tasked with looking over replays. Games of hackers versus hackers should provide the most damning evidence, IMO, of illegitimate play. We have got to start trying to turn some hackers into assets instead of turning the whole ladder into a liability. No one reports anyone because they're either too obvious or you realize they're hacking, but you never get the chance to play them enough to have a big enough sample to prove it to others. As for the replay, at 22:08 does a hacker move. His general theme seems to be "wait until things become relevant to me" to bother attacking/killing. I found that interesting, because everyone else... they just instantly kill things and then act like they get lucky every game but are too busy to play the lotto. | ||

North America Diamond Played him twice in a row. In both occasions, he cancelled a nexus to prevent it being scouted. In addition, he moved his probe to avoid units he did not have vision of. http://drop.sc/391110 http://drop.sc/391109 In the first replay this can be seen at 11:00 (Top left expansion). He cancels a proxy nexus to prevent it being spotted by a changeling, proceeds to avoid the changeling. In the second replay this can be seen at 23:50 (Top left expansion). Cancels his nexus without vision of anything, hides probe in back. Moves probe back out to rebuild the nexus, but stops and turns around when a few hydras are split off to double check the base. This is the major tell, there are smaller tells throughout the replays. In addition to this, he previously held a ~50% win rate on ladder, until recently where his win rate has skyrocketed to almost 100%. He has left his league at least once, I'm assuming he left when he downloaded the hack, since this current record is stellar. | ||

You'll notice this coincides with my pack of lings crossing to his half of the map. It's full blatant and I can't even find the clan on the NA server to give them the rep so he can get kicked. Server : NA League : Diamond Description : Player BM's a lot talking about how he was going to snipe someone named brocopz or something then goes on to say ' watch this ' , moments later just leaves the game then i look in match history, says I got a win with no points added, and game doesn't show up in his match history, then I msg him and he admits to maphacking but not drop hacking. The in game text is ridiculous and the game doesn't show anything but him acting crazy / admitting he hacks. I vsd a barcode protoss. Chatted to him after the game about how i hate pvp. End up talking about hackers. I link him to this thread and he trys to defend the 1VA guy (Himself lol). Then i go to add him because he seemed ok but i couldn't add him because he was already on my friends list with a note that i saved saying he is a hacker. Check the replay that i just played him in and his account is the some lvl (105) as the 1VA barcode and the picture next to the nexus is the same as the 1VA guy. So funny lol. Thought i was talking to a nice guy. Turns out it was the hacker trying to defend himself :D | ||
