You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody.
Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. |
Suspect name: IlIlIlIlllll Server: AM League: Masters Description: http://drop.sc/294125
I'm not sure if he was maphacking or not, but it's fairly suspect. I'm 99% sure he used autoprobe (he NEVER looked at his nexuses or anything, rarely selected them, but always started a probe IMMEDIATELY after the last one finished.
Only 50 APM, and he opens with 3 pylon wall. I learn the hard way that drone drilling doesn't work anymore, but see his intent to expand so I drone up and take a hidden base.
I'm a little suspect that he scouted the hidden base, but whatever.
I'd like it if someone could analyze the replay more closely, like with sc2gears. I don't really know what to look for, and may have missed something. I don't THINK I saw any obvious fog peeks, but there could be a camera lock or something.

ps, here's a small guide on how to detect automation: detection automation hacks as korona said earlier, you can copy paste actions directly form sc2gears if you don't feel like screenshotting.
Note: previously OnTheThrone.

So sad to see how much map hackers there are, you've got to think if people are actually smart about map hacking and don't make it completely obvious how much of them are out there going completely undetected for the most part?

especially when we don't have effective means of flagging a replay as suspicious without damaging reputations and starting flamewars.

astropenguin can you make a penguin plug so we can at least know when we are playing hackers?

Hacker name: Buckfast Server: EU League: Master Description: http://drop.sc/294168 The obvious part at around 7:35 I went for early massling, and 2 seconds before my lings was on his ramp, in his vision, he threw down a pylon to block the entrence. On the replay you can see that he got no vision of my lings or any knowledge at all that I am going for that attack, and the timing when he puts down the pylon just makes it completely obvious I think.
(And dont ask me how I lost, I just made a fool out of myself throwing it away like the noon I am;)

Thanks for the quick response. If he was doing full maphacking, how did he lose? I played SO greedy to catch back up lol, and he didn't moveout until I had infestors, an upgrade, and was nearly maxed with roach/ling...
Maybe he's just REALLY bad? He was favoured, and played random. And didn't use his first chronoboosts etc...
Perhaps I fooled him with the spire->cancel into infestors? I mean he was fully favoured, so he's pretty high masters. I guess I'll just assume that he's really bad and only wins at all because of his maphacking...I saw the that vod about OnTheThrone and it looks like the same player (VERY slow, no fog peeks, no scouting, playing very greedy, still losing).

i have no clue, i didn't study the replay when i saw he was using automation. waste of time.
but in general i think it's fair to state that: if you queue up vs a guy/girl who hacks you are a much better player than him/her, since without hacks he/she would not matching up vs you.

hey nunez, have u found any automation in pxebas play or something that could confirm 100% hack? I am sure he is a hacker but you know, some people cant see the obvious without 100% proof.
edit nevermind, just found your post with the analysis

Pxeba is a friend of mine, but I must say that he's really MHing. One season he was low masters/high diamond, then in the next season he gets 650 points.

Yeah, he's just really bad. I had beaten him a couple of times in the past, then was playing greedy one game, saw some fishy behavior, he says 'GTFO' as he sends his army out from his base without scouting me, and happens to catch me off guard. Sad behavior that hopefully gets him banned, he's been hacking for a LONG time. :\

Heh blink hack too. It's a wonder how these guys win any games at all lol.

I love when people create accounts to make it seem like other people believe they aren't hacking. It's just so cute.
