You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody.
Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. |

EDIT: Oh and btw in your metaphor you're a kid right? Makes sense.
Calm down, dude. Take deep breaths. When someone hacks, yes, it's annoying, but it's certainly not an illegal offense or something that harms another person in such a harsh way. They're kids being kids, playing hookey from school. It's not the end of the world for you or them. In the grand-scheme of ones personal life, trials and tribulations, friends, family, and work and how one can actually do very harmful stuff there, hacking is not a big deal.
I, for one, am interested at the rates between those in whom hack and actually get noticed enough.
I don't hack, but something tells me if I did I'd be extremely safe about it. I imagine most would be very safe about not letting their secrete be known. Now let's figure the evidence mounting against some people and that these particular people actually allow the evidence to be noted. They won't scout, blind counter, positions and react blindly.
However these seem to be (to me anyway) a very small fraction of those in whom don't care about being caught. You can get a new account rather cheap these days. For every one we do suspect I imagine at least one more is added to that list in whom was actually careful and does well to protect his hacking.
Furthermore, once a hacker and with the correct program there is a near 100% chance you wont get banned when using external hacks. Simply impossibly to detect without illegally scoping one's computer for other programs, a violation of our Constitutional expectation of Privacy. As SC continues to evolve the number of hackers will only increase, not decrease as a waning interest in doing well or noting other people not getting caught and new accounts will only provoke the situation. As far as Platinum to GM league goes, I'm inclined to believe about 10-15% of people are hacking, much higher then I initially thought due to it's incredible ease of access and installation. It take about 10 minutes when you google it. Blizzard can arrest some of the distributors and creators of these hacks but they can't stop other people's inherent ingenuity and brilliance when it comes to circumventing software.

You know what would be an easy way to detect hackers, have Blizzard save every ladder replay and scan them with whatever they want just like nunez do to detect the impossible moves. 100% legal. Wouldn't detect the simple maphack, but it would detect all the automatic fonctions that comes with it.

Hacker name Attila Server EU League Diamond Descriptions Game 1: ~1:32 he sends a second scv to my base to proxy rax me before the first scouts me. Look at my natural expantions ramp and you will see him sending the second scv down there (to the right) without knowing where I am (he is also not looking at the place he is sending it as if he was using the mini map for it.) When I first saw it I thought he first had sent the scv to his ramp too build his rax there in the wall and that he just changed his mind after his scout saw me. But he never sends it to the ramp, he is sending it straight down to my base for the proxy. His proxy fails he gg and leaves.
Game 2 Matched against him a second game
No scouting until he sends a reaper to my base. Doesn't really prove anything (my base spawn would be the first anyone would scout) but his reaper dies before seeing anything I have. And he never scans my base so he is playing 100% blindly all game.
6:17 Interesting blind barrack rally to my natural expansion without knowing if I have any army there or not (had I had my army out there his marines would have walked in and died one by one). No prof but interesting.
8-9 Multiple peeks towards my high ground tanks in fog of war
9:05 The first ever scan by him gives him vision of my just forward moved tank at my ramp (just after a very notable peek into fog of war)
12:24 I take my third base. At this time he just selected his armoury and started an upgrade and does nothing for 2 seconds (with the armoury selected, normally if you dont have anything to do for that long you circle production buildings or look for something to do). He then selects his army and sends it for my expansion. I would argue that the time he was doing nothing (not even moving the camera) with the armoury selected he was looking at me and my expo in the fog of war. I guess you could argue that he just had a feeling I was expanding. Sure but there is no clear third expansion on shakuras. I could have taken the other one as well (like he had) but he went for the one further away.
The only building he have seen of me is my expansion cc I built next to my ramp that he saw when he scanned too kill my tank at 9:05
While he is moving out I am doing the same. 12:58 he sees that our armies will meet and pulls his further down south letting me pass without seeing him. At the same time he is also taking a obvious peek at my army as I am moving down my ramp and we pass.
Ends with a semi base race.

For most hacks, not their fault, man. :/ It's easy to criticize people when you don't have to deal with what they do.

Because I'm allowed to make two different points in one thread.
Getting better has very little to do with the frustration of dealing with hackers. :/ It's an annoyance and does make you lose points, but it's just a game, man. You're trying to get better at a video game and in one's life it has very little importance in the grand-scheme of things. There are much more important things in life and someone in whom hacks will do much worse things in their life then hack. I simply chose to add my 2 cents since the thread exists.
