You have to provide some kind of evidence/proof (screenshots/replays etc.) if you are going to accuse somebody.
Additionally, a supporting comment of what people should be looking for and when will be necessary if you are posting replays/evidence. |

Combatex does not map hack for sure, in the past he used to stream cheat but had stopped. IMO he is one of the most knowledgeable Protoss players, you can be sure to learn a lot from him. He BMs a lot, but he does this to everyone, so people with a normal sense of humor would find it funny.
His stream can be located here: http://www.twitch.tv/combatex

Wait there is one CombatEX in Grandmasters which is not the real combatex. He might maphack but the real combatex i don't think he hacks. He used to cheat/stream cheat abuse and such but never mh.

ROFL @ how desperate the hackers were to not lose their account or reputation that they came into this thread and vehemently defended themselves. Depravity is even still here, now lying through his teeth about IP bans just to humiliate himself some more I guess. Vencido was SO DESPERATE not to lose his 13k wins account LOL. Care much about your online identity bro?
Props to Blizz for posting in this thread and proving that they act on community reporting via the in-game system.

I play Combatex on ladder weekly, nothing suspicious only the smell of cheese.

I feel very angry about this Heisenberg guy but the point he is doing this so obviously make me happy. There's nothing worse in my opinion then a guy who try to hide a hack to show he is some kind of pro plus he has an great nickname :D.
In the last three games vs me he always proxy
|
^ same MichaelCA. he also just proxied me and rallied into my base on antiga, without scouting anywhere. Too bad blizzard is so useless they can't ban a player who clearly hacks and has 700 games without being banned? wtf? really blizzard?

Also, combatex isn't a maphacker, he just stream snipes is all

This.
These types of people almost have some type of mental issues that stretch beyond the realm of gaming. Its sad really. I'm kind of lost for words for just how pathetic these people are. I almost pity them.
Edit: I almost read this entire thread, mainly the vEncido parts. What a story! I feel sorry for him, really I do. Just how low-life this guy really is.
Here is where he really got scared, when he was caught in his lie about not playing Protoss. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=340614¤tpage=120#2398
And here you are, the End of the Line: Shuttle Kilo

Cheating is as old as gaming (if not older!) As small as the impact is on overall ladder, it breeds distrust and paranoia. I do think blizzard cares, but they are always 1 step behind despite their initial statement that bnet 2.0 was to be super secure T_T
The harder a game is to crack, the harder hackers will work at circumventing its securities. Sadly they make it available to the public (for some reason...financial perhaps?). Just look at these forums or the teamliquid channel on Bnet: the higher you are on ladder, the more "respected" you are, your opinions "matter" more etc..
E-fame, it is very petty, but this kind of behavior is supported by the masses who give them more credit for being higher ranked, wether its legit or not. Some people are willing to pay or take risks for that.

Hi everyone, I am a cheater and I would like to tell you my experience and why I cheat.
I brought SC2 SEA version that came with NA key from the day it was released, since then I have always played casually. I was first banned about 5 months after on both SEA/NA accounts from Warden due to a detected hack. I then brought a cheap SEA key that also came with the NA for $35 and I brought an additional 4 NA keys as backup and other accounts to play on for $25 each. Last year some time I got my hands on a crash hack which was quite fun, this was the same one that ACE guy used if you remember him, eventually I was banned after a month and more.
Strangely enough, that account got unbanned and all stats remained, by this time the crash hack was fixed but there was a lag drophack around this time. I ended up using that on the same account, not often but enough to get attention and after a month I was banned again. Unbelievably the same account got unbanned, this time all stats were removed and the account was fresh, how this happened I don't know but im not complaining. Since then I have brought a TW key for $38 (legit) to play on korean server and I have yet to banned again for any sort of hacking. I also have not and do not use any of these tie hacks people have used lately.
I am someone who knows how to hide my maphack well enough, but at the same time I don't really care if I get banned as I have plenty of accounts and keys are cheap enough if you know where to get them. I have been called out and accused of maphacking probably about 5 times in total, there's probably more that just reported me and didn't message me saying im a maphacker or whatever.
The reason why I cheat is simple, I like to have an advantage and it makes the game more fun for me, allows me to beat people I probably wouldn't beat in a fair match up. Yes, it's unfair to my opponents but who am I to care, as long as I am having fun.
Hate me, love me, I just wanted to share my experience and why I cheat.

Btw do they get banned or just placed in bronze?

I think it would be hilarious if maphackers who were caught would be locked in bronze forever, but that wouldn't make sense. They get banned, although I don't think it's an IP ban (which is why hackers have multiple accounts)

So you're afraid of competition, like to take the easy way out, and are willing to be selfish at the expense of others. Thanks for telling us about your weak-mindedness bro .

Don't hate me because i'm always right ok? lolll yes out of the 1000 people you accuse of stream cheating and hacking congratz What happened to Depravity...? I thought you guys were legit 2v2 pro, no MH? Guess not LOL he told me that his friend played on his account for 4 games, I was even suprised he got banned lol Ah yes- that is precisely correct. It sounds like an excuse, in which it is none of my concern if there is some disbelief in my statement ; but i have decided to take a break long before this, and decided that a friend can play on it after the summer ends . . I have an alt account, however, until the year is over, i will unfortunately not be able to play, For those who have accused me of hacking ; You may have been a little bit happier, however, in my response to this , I only care about the opinions of my close friends, and people who have played with me via skype. Those people know who they are , and they know that sometimes.. we do have embarassing games of losing just to blind counters , cheese or drops. ^^ . As for the decision to let my friend play - It's a tempting offer that we all face when we are at an uneven ratio for 1s, Unfortunately, my online friend was a hacker ; so i'll face the consequence of the account of " depravity" for the poor decisions that i have made . However, i will be on TL still watching streams on my spare time, and posting on strategies . Keep in mind tho - admist all this confusion , it isn't in my nature to BM anybody . This includes Protech as well . And i expect that i get the same type of manner reflected back at me from the great community of starcraft 2 . In HOTS , I will name change my alt back to Depravity. Wish me luck in my studies - Depravity Edit : I have submitted a ticket ; but unfortunately, because Blizzard bans via IPs and not replays, The hacker's IP has been stringed to my account and my ticket has been revoked. Although this is unfortunate, it is also the best way to show that because my Alt has not been banned, it means that my IP hasn't been stringed to my Alt; because Blizzard did not detect " depravity" from my IP . I hope this has satisfied those that are starved from their curiosity; and the irate people who bear hatreds towards me .
I would like to quote this so no one miss this gem. I don't remember when i saw such pile of BS last time :D.
Friend hacker played my account never heard before that excuse :D
