MVP has kinda stated the very same thing implicitly given the way he played TvP in the GSL.
edit: and I think a lot of player share the mentality of Ryung, acknowledging that you are playing on a much higher skill level than the protoss opponent you are losing to.

I don't think that's true at all, and if you weren't trying to find ways to justify your own opinions about TvP, you'd agree, especially given that MVP himself not only opted for macro strats in some of his TvPs, but even said in his interview after defeating Parting that he had planned to win if games went late.

I think we've seen foreigners lament basically everything as of late. Because Naniwa finds PvZ difficult (and I have huge sympathy for that point of view) does that mean that Zerg is OP? He also said that super late game PvT favours Terran, so what now?

He won a few vs squirtle, but squirtle was doing all kinds of mistakes cos of nervousness which gave MVP a considerable advantage going into the lategame. When squirtle pulled his act together MVP had to resort to a 11/11 2-rax to do the job.
In every single game in the Ro4 and finals MVP either did a 1 rax expand into fast medivacs with the very clear goal to inflict a lot of damage to the protoss or some semi all-inish cheese.

I have to ask, have you seen a lot of Ryung's TvPs? Because his history in that matchup does not hold a lot of evidence to him playing a higher skill level than most Protoss.

So when a Toss beats a Terran in the lategame, it's due to imbalance, but when a Terran beats a Toss in the lategame, it's because the Toss is making mistakes? Come on, that's ridiculous and you know it. There was a game MVP played against Parting that MVP had in the bag until he mismicroed and lost a lot of units. Same with the game against Squirtle where MVP went BCs. MVP was going to win in these "macro games" until he messed up, kinda like how you'd expect a balanced game to function.

It's more about the amount of mistakes the races comparatively can afford to make. If PartinG made Mvp's mistake and lost half his zealots the game wouldn't have ended. No way for Mvp to punish that as effectively as PartinG did.

That's true it was a real 1a, he never focused the vikings, even when doing so wouldn't have disrupted his stalkers at all. On this other hand I4m not sure Ryung ff'ed the colossi, iirc he was himself on amove with his vikings. Had he killed 2 more colossi, he perhaps would have defended one zealot warpin more.

Ryung ain't bad. He sometimes ladders top 15 GM games on Cella's stream and has no trouble beating Protoss. He's not doing that in real matches tho for whatever reason.

Ryung telling it how it is, Protoss have too many A + move units that are extremely powerful and do everything for you, almost no micro involved in the race, even in the highest level of GSL. Easy mode =]

Forcefielding half a second too late is enough to lose the game in many instances. Losing half of one's Zealots for free is definitely something that sets one back a bit, especially if Zealots are the core of one's army.
