Depends on how you view Symbol's ZvP. I'm pretty sure most agree that Symbol's ZvZ and ZvT are slightly better, or at worst, just as good as Stephano's. But, his ZvP is definitely a level or two below Stephano's.

I'll agree that Symbol's ZvT is slightly better, they're about even at ZvZ, just outside of the top ZvZ in the world (Nestea and DRG).

I guess you didn't saw Symbol vs Nestea at iron squid...

We're functioning with the TSL.M tag ONLY for GSTL because it's required.
We're not sharing the TSL name for the duration of the partnership.
Hope that clears things up!

so this partnership is same as startaleQ?

Quantic playing alone on team leagues.

Definitely not. Unlike ST & Quantic where Startale is the only team with a practice house, Millenium and TSL are functioning as two completely separate entities with the exception of GSTL. We're literally doing a foreign exchange program where we equally share housing... it helps both Millenium and TSL broaden our audience range and players like Polt, HyuN, RevivaL, Symbol have all been strong presences in the EU scene. We took a conscious effort to develop a type of partnership completely different from what already exists, so I hope you understand that ^^

This "partnership" seems to be more of an even or true partnership than other teams' partnerships. In partnerships like the old ColMvP one, Col was just basically paying MvP by sending its players to tournaments for using the CoL name. In this one, the only benefits seem to be use of the teamhouses and teaming up for GSTL which benefits both teams in the same way.

The GSTL seemed logical for both teams, but fans will probably be seeing TSL a lot more on MilleniumTV now ^^
The partnership, as much as it is beneficial to both teams, as also largely for the fans who already enjoy seeing TSL players like Polt or Symbol (who is popular in the french scene) compete in Europe. Millenium's players and TSL players already work well together (for example Dragon & RevivaL) so we felt like we fit each other like lock & key ^^

It looks like a win / win situation for both teams, both get access to very nice gaming houses on another continent, and training with very capable players (Stephano of course for M, but also Feast who will train a lot more now his studies are finished for the time being, and less well-known but still very good GM EU like Adel, Tarson (!) or Diestar, and Polt, Symbol , Inori for TSL for example.)

And Stephano teaming with Polt in GSTL is just a dream come true Very happy the brovalry between Stephano & Polt came to this, Polt is one of my favorite korean players, exceptional spirit and truly great play, especially vZ

His ZvZ's vs nestea are amongst the best ZvZ's i've ever seen. Ever.

At this rate, I'd say Symbol's ZvZ is better than NesTea's. I mean, I don't think the 3-1 beating at Iron Squid could be any more indicative of his current skill. NesTea is riding too much on his past laurels and reputation in ZvZ. Symbol's TLPD isn't too indicative of his current play, and I think he says himself that his ZvZ is his strongest. Stephano's ZvZ is arguably his weakest matchup, so I'd put Symbol above Stephano in ZvZ as well.

This leaves us ZvP, which is fairly obvious in Stephano's favor. Only thing is, would a player who's slightly better in two matchups be the better Zerg, or the player who's a bit more than slightly better at one?

This leads me to think about who Team Liquid will partner up with in the future seeing how almost every foreign team has a korean partner team. Since oGs has split up what other teams are there for them to partner with? FXO or maybe NSHoSeo? But maybe Liquid isn't looking for a partner since they are already in GSTL.
Nu blir vi farliga!

TSL in the GSTL looking like a much better team than they were last season with Polt/Symbol/Stephano leading the charge. Most teams now have foreigner partnerships now. Just Prime, NSHS, and FXO left. And FXO kind of has a partnership with FXO.CIS, the world team counterpart of FXO.

Prime have a partnership with TTAppolos iirc, I dont know if it covers GSTL, but the TTAppolo players can atleast train in the Prime house-

Stephano became this good at ZvP practicing vs Bling & Mana, imagine if he practices ZvT & ZvZ as hard vs Polt & Symbol...o_O Let's not speak about what could become the already good Polt TvZ (hi2u DRG )

This is very exciting news. Some serious Stephano ownage aside from Code S in Korea might be up, or it'll be an orgie in disapointment, kinda like when Ogs had both Huk and Jinro but never opted to pick them because they simply weren't good enough. Hopefully Stephano stands out enough to be called into the GSTL match more often.

It's kind of disappointing from a mere spectator's point of view if only Adelscott and not Feast gets to go.Regardless; MIllenium and Europe hwaiting!

Adelscott and Stephano were added to the GSTL roster because they expressed interest about training in Korea regardless of GSTL. It's been announced on the Millenium website that if TSL gets past round one, Millenium players will join us in playing for Round 2. It would be silly to have them on the roster and not have them play. The reason Millenium is starting at Round 2 with us is because of scheduling issues (they can't come in June when the match is scheduled). Just clarifying little things because I don't want people assuming the worst or being disappointed when they don't see Stephano automatically right away. There is a method to this madnesssssssss <3
