Hello everyone! We are happy to announce our new stream times as well as a new series of shows from our very own Doa!
New Broadcast Times! - The new broadcast time for our new daily casts is now officially 15:00 PDT / 18:00 EDT, which is 3 p.m. / 6 p.m. respectively. 22:00 GMT (+00:00)
- Our new broadcast time for our European rebroadcasts, which began last week, is 19:30 CEST or 7:30 p.m. Please adjust your viewing habits appropriately! =) 17:30 GMT (+00:00)
Doa's New Shows! - These new shows will take place one hour before our tournament casts, at 14:00 PDT / 17:00 EDT or 2 p.m. / 5 p.m. respectively! 21:00 GMT (+00:00)
From Doa:
IPL in the Afternoon is a series of shows that will ideally entertain, educate and give the community lots of chances to interact with me, our staff, and maybe even some pro players!
Here’s a bit of what you can expect to see:
Tuesday will be a variety of shows and will probably change a bit each week depending on what's going to be interesting to look at. We’ll take in-depth looks at community-produced maps and competitive map making with Cartographer. I’ll share my opinions on recent events in the SC2 community in Neighborhood Watch and we’ll talk balance, balance whining, and what’s OP in Arms Race!
Wednesday will be reserved for shows like Casters, in which a panel of professional SC2 commentators will discuss the shoutcasting side of the esports industry, Progamer Lifestyle, where I’ll do a long-form interview with a pro player, or Build Order Breakdown, in which we’ll take a close look at a strategy used in a game from the previous week’s IPL tournament broadcasts.
Thursday will always be Use Map Settings! This show will highlight popular/interesting UMS games and give IPL Subscribers a chance to play with Kevin, myself, and other pros and IPL staffers!
Friday is reserved for Build Order Breakdown every week. We’ll make the replay that we’ll look at available before the show to make sure you can be following along!
For our first episode of Cartographer, Tuesday May 15th, we will have special guests GoSu.Pokebunny and iS.Axslav on the show!

you guys should adjust the times to the [TIME] code in Liquid. Makes a lot easier for us to actually see the right time.

Added the time tags to the end of each bullet listing the new times. Good suggestion! =)

Rebroadcasts go on right after the live, initial broadcast ends. You'll still be able to catch the broadcasts or VODs as always. =)

Personally I hate this. Never going to be able to watch a live broadcast and I can never find any fun in watching rebroadcasts when there is so much other content out there.

IGN basically grew their own top tier casting duo by pairing him with CatsPajamas.

Agreed. I always liked him with Wolf, but he shines with CatsPajamas and I love the dynamic between this pair and Wolf and Khaldor. So it all worked out for the best!
DoA seems to enjoy the game a lot and play a lot too, so I'm sure his knowledge of the game is always growing. Hopefully this series of shows will help as well, and make his casting that much better.

I would watch this is DoA had more game knowledge and wasn't so critical by saying: " yeah I'm just going to say this is kinda bad..."
Not sure why a pro gamer would do something that he believes is bad? o.0
He has been improving a lot though, so I say best of luck in new shows

Promise me one thing DoA, and that is:
never, ever change. Just cast the way you just DO. Do not listen to people who tell you "you're too nice" and yes you and I both know who that person is, I won't name names.
I miss you from the GSL days but at least I can watch you from IPL. I want to see you all suited up again!

Should be "IPL the Afternoon"; this is much smoother on the tongue.

The only thing I think might suck is when those of us get home at 5:30 pm or 6 pm and want to watch the re-broadcast.
But then we tune in and accidentally see the FINAL game of the first broadcast.
How can we go about making sure we dont see spoilers? I wish there was a php master that could program up a page we could look at to see if whats going on is the initial cast or a rebroadcast. Or something like that.

More shows in the works. Not totally sure a community news show is worth doing. How do people feel about long-form, live interviews with pro players or perhaps a talk show that talks about the casting industry?

It's around two weeks since the timeslot shift. Can an IPL staff talk about whether the shift was successful?

Im a bit confused about the times for the new shows, will they be rebroadcasted as well?
The "new daily casts " in the OP refer to the tournamnet casts, that's correct?
Also, is there any offical information on the content of the shows coming up? Like players, maps and so on?

I enjoyed the hots custom map show you did today thank you for making that content.
Feel free to do more hots shows before next thursday I think it would be way to popular to only do one hour a week.
Also it would be nice if there was a list of vod links maintained for the show I dont know how to find any besides the one above.
