Warpgates is a perfect example of this. In BW, reinforcement speed is always an issue regardless of race. So playing against a race where they can reinforce on the front-lines instantly would take time to adjust. Zerg with creep spread is a lesser version of this. Whereas terran in both games have the same reinforcement time issue. So before Flash and other BW veterans adjust to such metagame changes, of course they'd find certain things unfair. To me the biggest gap is how current BW progamers think. They intuitively believe in a certain set of "rules" that guide them when it comes to making decisions in-game. But SC2 has a completely different set of rules. And they must get familar with the new ones before they can truly think of the game properly. | ||
