In terms of balance, everyone is entitled to an opinion, and statistics only reflect a part of the story as it is basically impossible to determine "skill" levels, ie A beat B in a PvT, is it because A is just a better player or because P is imba or because A got lucky and chose the right build or even because B made a bad misclick? | ||

It's definitely a flawed opinion because he wants to defend his race and get buffs for his race. It kind of makes me annoyed for him to say that, especially because SC2 T is winning at the highest level, and especially because BW T was so OP but no one complained about it to his face and say "Flash, you're amazing but the only reason you are called God is because you play the OP race" | ||

That being said, I bet as soon as he learns Terran has to outright win early-mid game or have a really good advantage, he's gonna become god-tier cheese/allin perfection status. Which I do have to say is such a shame. | ||

See, that's the thing I honestly feel about - it was easy for terrans to dominate before, particularly against protoss (almost entire year of 2011 had absurd TvP winrates, which is a fact) that they relatively never really had to work for the wins; as a result TvP development lagged behind simply because there was no need to try new things. And now that metagame balance has shifted, seeing terrans struggle in this matchup was to be expected imo. Which is imo exactly why Blizzard has stated they recognized that there could potentially be issues to address but haven't made any changes yet, as they probably want to monitor it for a while longer. i'm a protoss player...this isn't exactly true. there are too many 'useless' units vs P as as terran. yes sometimes tanks, banshees, and thors are used, but you never see these in standard play, only in very specific timing attacks that capitalize on damage done previously. actually i really think there are too many 'useless units' in general. ravens (these are basically never used except in 111 type pushes specifically for the use of PDD). ravens are basically never used in tvz, and in rare circumstances in late game TVT. carriers...again these are basically never used. hydralisks not exactly useless, but they add very little diversity to the zerg army other than 'we do a lot of dps' and i guess holding specific pure air allins. there are also a lot of very useless upgrades (medivac energy, raven upgrades). if blizzzard just worked to make everything in the game USEFUL in at least one or two of the matchups, outside of pure gimmicks, they'd have a much better game | ||

PvT was an uphill battle for T in BW. the thing about P in BW was they consistently killed each other off in leagues by placing themselves in the same groups, leaving a small pool left to fend off the T's and Z's. edit- a slight tangent but BW is also much more map dependent than SC2's current state in regards to matchups and map rotations dictated some of the later seasons. edit2- also you apparently haven't watched the vods of flash's offraces. his zerg was pretty impressive. | ||

Yup, i'm sure he, like TL balance whiners, has posted furiously on korean starcraft 2 forums complaining about the current state of the game. Probably has sent millions of emails to BNET to whine about it as well. Add in rage quitting his games and throwing a pancy fit when he loses to a 6 gate. Its his life and his job, if he feels some aspects are unfair, why isn't he allowed to say it when someone asks him about it? Its not like he is actively lobbying for a change like a significant portion of TL forummers. By your logic, a large group of us on TL are idiots. Maybe even retarded since we are not in master league and we feel that some aspects of the game is imbalanced. Why hang out in this forum then? less than 20 posts, i sense a troll. | ||

If you add asymmetric design caused of the original project, and other asymmetric design caused of an uncomplete game, SC2 is more hard yet to understand, and much difficult to balance. I think very few people really understood the game, and this is the major cause of whines. I think Flash is a God in SC: BW, but he didn't understand SC2 yet, and it's too soon to make judgments, while opinions are okey. It's normal, any noob in the first weeks thinks FF are OP and 4 Gate is OP, but there are a lot of things OP in this game, for example all the Terran Units, starting with the Mule. Maybe in HotS the game will improve its mechanics, but I don't know if Blizzard have the capacity. | ||
