How are your hotkeys?
The same as in BW. Once we fully transition I might start thinking about changing them but I'm not having much trouble so far so I think I might stick with it.

This really sucks, I had hoped both games could keep being popular but I guess it's not really realistic anymore when all the teams make their BW players practice SC2.

How do you know Flash wants to balance the game by removing FF and warpgate? Or are you just assuming shit based off his words in order to make your point, which isn't actually a point at all, all things considered. He thinks they're tough and "OP" right now -- he does not think they need to be removed for the game to be balanced. You can't make that leap.

He hasn't even started studying vods yet, so wait and see what he says in a few months.
It probably won't matter though. This game is still being patched and most pros will continue to say their race is weak.

Also, parallel format blows. Rather see amazing SC2 play than mediocre BW and SC2.

There's always an element of translation issues with these things, remember. It's possible that he thinks that Protoss is just a bullshit race in SC2 regardless of being OP or UP (an opinion I share, they're just poorly designed).

Thanks for the interview, really nice to see Flash talking about his transition to StarCraft 2.

I think if Flash ends up switching races so will many other players because people idol him so very much, I think if he changed race I think I'd even feel the urge to switch as well :/

I'm pretty sure it's this. I think he's a smart enough player to realize that he might not have all the answers yet after a few weeks of playing.

Other former BW players have said similar things (toss OP! zerg OP! terran OP!) but it's all been tongue-in-cheek and usually they appended something like "...but I'm not really at the level to seriously say that yet" afterwards.

Every player harbors their own balance opinions, but only tournament winners have the credibility to make them public and be taken seriously.

and as a Terran player. Every player will complain about balance for years, it doesn't matter how good they are- and with Flash admitting he's still relatively new to SC2 I'd still pick a current GSL pro over him for opinions- for now.

Please stop focusing on stats, they dont matter nearly as much its the fact that protoss lacks in good players that they are underperforming as a race. Srsly look at protoss players games they play unfathomably greedy and lose. Like all they need to do is play solid and toe to toe. Once it gets to 3base + protoss becomes op. They are not weak mid game that is because the protoss is teching greedily, eg you do not get 2 forges and go for colloso that is playing fken greedy, u get 1 forge and tech and keep your gateway unit count high. These protosses are still so terrible with their macro and timings. Parting and squirtle are about the only ones who know how to macro solid and safe. OZ is a prime example of a greedy protoss.
