Meh, at least a couple of these features should have been patched in sometime the last two years.
In that time, there have been many tournaments with games ruined due to a drops. It's sad that an independent party had to come up with a solution for the problem before Blizzard did. Regional play has forced a lot of people to buy extra copies of the game. Was a bad move from the start and now they're trying to correct it. Shared replay should have been in the game since day 1.
I might consider getting HotS if they patch WoL to have these features.

The question is, why has this shit been taken away in the first place?

I've bought 3 accounts on different regions, now over 120 dollars will be pissed away because blizzard finally decided to do the logical choice? Guess i'm a fool. Now we've been promised clan support for how long and other features, instead of giving it to us in a timely fashion they think it's fine to dump it in their expansion which we're all expected to pay for. Lastly i'm quite sure ladder will be a terrible experience being split in half with this unranked match making system, unranked really makes no sense to me. I'm very quickly losing faith in what Blizzard is. Jesus christ... Some people just can't be happy about things for once in their life...Just be happy I'm sorry, I can't be happy knowing people are screwing me over and will continue to screw me over. You can be happy with the trinkets people throw at you, but i'm more intrested in the over all content. @Wasteweiser, You do realize that you, before this change, had to buy three expansions, one for for each account you have, and now you only need to pay for one.

The way they worded seems to imply it's just going to come in a patch (for everyone) around the time HotS launches.

Great stuff!! How about some stats??

"Unranked matchmaking"
So what will be the next excuse of people who just don't like losing?
E: Most features seem awesome.

Better late than never. Better on time than late, too, but, well...

Its too good to be true LOL

Great, I wonder what other 'new' features they'll add in LotV, because adding these basics somwhere after HotS' release sounds preposterous. Well, I'll buy the expansions either way.

AWESOME see blizz does get their head out of their asses sometimes.. eventually :D

Oh man, these are the features I ( i dare even say all of us) have wanted since SC2 release!
Man this is awesome, HOTS is looking awesome :D
Can't wait for this , although i still don't understand why some of it wasn't here at the start

Always trusted Blizzard. Never lets you down.

The hardest to create, unimaginably high tech feature that noone can even conceive at the current state of technology + Show Spoiler + I'm just kidding This news is awesome. Features are amazing!!

Can't wait for these new features. Well played Blizz.

This is awesome. Was losing faith in Blizzard but now I am a fanboy once again. GLOBAL PLAY, shit just got real.!!
|
So many moaners! I can't believe it
This is great news, be happy you bitter little nerds.

They have no choice but to do this. Blizzard knows their audience is losing enthusiasm in SC2 because of the lack of interaction among the community that other games can offer. The fact that Bnet is designed in a way that is of the most basic forms of communication is through text and there isn't much else to do. Valve, Riot, S2 Games (HON dev), are all capitalizing on this. SC2 doesn't have much to offer in terms of competition, atleast not on the non-pro level.

i don't see anything revolutionary other than "resuming game play". i can see it being important for tournaments, but LAN would've been a better feature. i don't really care about resuming a random ladder game with someone i don't even know. i also remember being able to save custom multiplayer games in wc3 and playing them later.
if they consider these features as $60 for an expansion, WoL will be the last game i buy from blizzard

Maybe balance the game?
