it'll be interesting how it plays out when the bw teams switch fully
BW teams have a lot more money since they have major corporations backing them. I believe the concern from many Korean teams is not whether foreign teams will "poach" their players, but rather if KeSPA teams will poach their players.

I think it's a very smart move from Oz, Alive has been playing very well since he transferred to Fnatic and FXO has not been doing well at all lately, time to jump ship.

They have at least a year until that happens according to the KeSPA-Blizzard-OGN-Gretech deal iirc.

That's a huge blow to FXO, as their remaining Protoss line just isn't the same without Oz. Fnatic on the other hand, just got much more scary.

Rosters and line-ups aren't set through the season.
they are finalised, any transfers can't be played

I hope they don't. woudnt be fair compared to other teams who had the same thing happened to them (altough a bit less)

i wonder how many current SC2 teams will be left if BW and foreign teams keep taking away their star players...
|
I did not see this coming at all. Oz seemed so solid with FXO
Oh well, best of luck to Fnatic with the team leagues.

Ladies and Gentlemen, please give a warm welcome to Kim "Oz" Hak Soo who will be playing under black and orange flag from now on.
Funny thing is he was already playing under black and orange.
|
ZOMG. first knew oz from funny desrow vlogs From the first moment, I knew he was going to join a foreign team because his English was so good and had an amazing sense of humour! Not to mention that he has been doing so well in recent tourneys. GOOD LUCK OZ :D

To bad i liked FXO.OZ but i guess Fnatic.Oz isn't bad either

Handsome picture. Too bad for FXO though. Did Oz get a hair cut? Also he's never looked more handsome in that new black and orange... oh wait....
|
Nice Pick Up! Now Fnatic needs a solid zerg so that they have a good player fo each race
|
not surprised after the tweet from fxoboss awhile ago. also this
|
damn fnatic really is rich lol.
|
Sick. Not up to date with the situation and this comes as a big surprise for me. A good one tho! Both Fnatic and Liquid has pretty sick lineup now.

Was there a hard written rule that players from existing sc2 wouldn't be able to sign with BW teams?

at this rate, it'll be team liquid versus fnatic for the GSTL title... No love for THEBEST?
