Esports in Sweden has grown so big that SVT steps in and gives it to us. What is NOT amazing about that?

Second, this doesn't really belong to SC2 generel yet, since there are no actual press release saying that it will be SC2 broadcasted on terrestrial TV, only that SOME tournaments will be shown. On topic though, this is of course great news for the whole E-sport community. If you read the link from svt.se in the op it specifically says they will broadcast the last 7 games of sc2. So why doesn't it belong in sc2 general? It also says they will broadcast live games for marksänd (translation?) tv during dreamhack summer. If that isn't sc2 news I don't know what is.

That's for this weeks DreamHack Stockholm Open, and that will be broadcasted on SVTPlay (As DH has been since 2009), not on terrestrial TV, which the title was referring too.

Yes, DreamHack Stockholm Open this weekend will have the last 7 matches broadcasted on SVTPlay, but Dreamhack Summer will be broadcasted on Terestrial TV. How much of it and on which of their channel is not yet announced but it is still quite some time left untill that tournament. I'll leave a translation of what it says on http://svt.se/2.155436/svt_e-sport SVT broadcasts directly from Dramhack Open SVT broadcasts directly from the E-sport tournament in StarCraft II when Dreamhack Open Stockholm is arranged this weekend the 21-22 April. SVT broadcasts the seven final games in the tournament and will broadcast during Sunday between 16.00-00.00 on svt.se/esport and in SVT Play. Dreamhack Open Stockholm is the starting signal for esports season 2012 that SVT will continue to cover and broadcast live from over the entire year. There will be more live broadcasted esport then ever before on SVT during 2012. The goal is that the broadcasts will be sent on SVT Play in first hand, but Dreamhack Summer will also be broadcasted live on terestrial TV for the first time

Edit: This really needs to get some more attention so that people tune in and support this! A feature on TL or at least put the info in the OP would be nice ![]()
