Yes, they started broadcasting at 20:00 on TV, but he is talking about SC2.

Oh ok, but I presume viewing figures are from the broadcast as a whole?

As a related note (but just a tad OT) the local daily City Malmö-Lund had a few lines about DH today, talking about who the winner in SC2 was (Mana) and mentioning Sase and Naniwa as top finishing Swedes. So perhaps a breakthrough in general in media when those results are reported as sports results are?

Bump! They are doing Dreamhack Valencia tomorrow! :D
20:00->23:05 on SVT24 and then; 23:05->01:00 on SVT2 (HD)
watchhh!

That's just awesome!

I noticed the Canal+ logo in the list of DH partners and sponsors. I wonder what will they do together, C+ is typically the type of channel that could broadcast sc2/ESPORTS.
I'm very very curious.

Thats just awesome! I really hope they start doing this more!

If I remember correctly, the broadcasting rights for last years DH:Valencia were bought by spanish Canal+ and I'm pretty sure they broadcasted it for the spanish audience.

Yes, it seems like the Spanish Canal+ are doing a livestream here: http://canalplus.es/viva/somos/videochat/encuentroDirecto.html?encuentro=9442&modo=dh

The tournament started a while ago... are they only showing the finals or something?
|
They started ~15:26 CEST online, 20.00 on TV. View count won't be available until at least tomorrow
|
Since it starts at 20.00 i'd guess that the semis and the finals are broadcasted on TV.
