Source? Maybe Sound Blaster is still sponsoring MVP independantly Creative and Razer were the conflicting sponsors, and Creative is no longer sponsoring MVP.

soundblaster and razor both make headsets.

Wouldn't be that surprising to see coL acquire few more Korean based players and try its luck in GSTL
|
col dont really need mvp anymore since they signed a bunch of koreans themselves recently.

It's kinda big news, I though that this thread would be shut cause someone else had already posted it and that it would be in the community news section, but apparently not.

I think it would be bigger news is it was a messy seperation or one of the teams couldnt support themselves. But complexity has been financially stable since it began(except for right after cgs) and mvp has picled up enough sponsors not to need help flying out their guys anymore

"CoL-MVP-geddon: How lovers became mortal enemies!
So guys, it looks like even though CoL and MVP are still working together in nearly every way, it looks like they won't officially be the same group. WILL DRG AND CATZ HAVE A FIGHT TO THE DEATH BECAUSE OF THIS????"
Your title was probably fine.

MVP Center Point - Clothing Razer - Computer/gaming hardware
Complexity PNY - Memory/storage Origin - Gaming laptops QPAD - Mouse Pads Nation Voice - VOIP/Ventrilo services
Razer vs QPAD is the only one that stands out to me, since Razer makes mouse pads as well as typical peripheral hardware.
Qpad makes headsets, keyboards, mice etc. aswell...

This was expected. I mentioned back at MLG Winter how DRG was not playing under colMVP anymore like at previous MLGs, only MVP.
|
Ah well, everything is on good terms, they still cooperate and we don't have lengthy double-team names in colmvp. All for the better if you ask me. Thanks for the info @op!
|
That's a pity. Hopefully coL has acquired enough Koreans so that they can hold their own from now on.
+ Show Spoiler +Or CatZ has learned enough from DRG. lol.
|
As long as it doesn't affect the bromance that has flourished between CatZ and DRG, I'm completely fine with this.
|
I'm guessing that they will continue as one for EG MCSL and IPL TAC3?
|
On one hand, it's a shame to see the partnership end. Glad it seems to have ended amiacably. On the other hand, I've always found the partnership teams playing together in team leagues a bit... odd. I guess I just prefer mvp to play as mvp and complexity to play as complexity.

I don´t know about EGMCSL, but at IPLTAC3 they will compete each as it´s own team. (http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/IPL_Team_Arena_Challenge/3)

makes sense. kind of hurts col more than mvp imo
|
as long as they continue to house coL players its cool with me. The team needs a place to stay in korea after all lol
