I agree with some of the comments here that the moderation on this thread has been dreadful. It's way too soft. I have gone ahead and simply deleted a bunch of comments that fail TL's community standards. Yes, those standards are determined by the mods. Yes, those standards are not perfect nor even uniformly applied. But we try our best. Spare us your righteous indignation over any notional impairment of free speech. This is a private site. It's a club. There is no "right" to free speech here. We only tolerate quality speech. By who's standards? Ours. Go read the TL Ten Commandments. Yeah, Artist and Slog would like to have a word with you. While Scarlett's run at IPL was impressive, Artist has been beating pros consistently for a while now and slog showed promise in korea. While it's ok to be excited about a new player, you could at least do research on the team.

Gratz to Scarlett on joining Eclypsia, hopefully with some future training in Korea we could have another high quality foreigner

if she got as good as she did laddering on the US i wonder what kinda of player she can really turn into, with a good team/practice partners and on a korean server(if shes is moving or what not) she could be amazing, if she can take down Koreans like she did at IPL 4 I cant wait to see her improve in the future! Honestly, I would have expected her to get on one of the established teams. I'm surprised that liquid or EG didn't go after her, and if they did... why did they lose out to Eclypsia?

Apparently she really clicked with the Eclypsia staff. And EG or Liquid would have been silly to go after her. They've got a GSL roster, they have no reason to invest in a newer player. If she performs well in the long run they'll probably start looking at her.

Scoots actually touched on this during a LO3.
Just because a player has a single solid tournament performance is no reason for a top team to rush to sign this person. There's been many one-off players since SC2 has come out that have had a good tournament run, only to fade away incredibly quickly.
If they continue to be solid, then you might start to see top teams going after said player.

She played, in order:
Terious (2-1)
Ddoro (2-0)
then she lost 1-2 to Oz
In the lower bracket:
Demuslim (2-0) (with the gentlemenly regame)
Golden (0-2) (loss, out of tourney)
