Complaints about moderation and freedom of speech are for the website feedback forums. They will be treated as being off topic and dealt with appropriately. No more Iron Lady talk, no more gender debate. This is a thread about a StarCraft player. Last I checked what's in between your legs has no impact on how you play the game. I agree with some of the comments here that the moderation on this thread has been dreadful. It's way too soft. I have gone ahead and simply deleted a bunch of comments that fail TL's community standards. Yes, those standards are determined by the mods. Yes, those standards are not perfect nor even uniformly applied. But we try our best. Spare us your righteous indignation over any notional impairment of free speech. This is a private site. It's a club. There is no "right" to free speech here. We only tolerate quality speech. By who's standards? Ours. Go read the TL Ten Commandments. No rules were broken or tournament runner's mislead. 2) A similar situation happened recently with a track and field runner (At work so I can't do full research) but essentially after being DQ'd and splashed all over the media, the ruling was changed to allow it as long as the gender reassignment surgery has occured along with the continued hormonal therapy. Please someone correct me if I am wrong...but I will hopefully be able to edit this when I get home to add sources. | ||

Also, note to some other people/mods. Some langauges do not use different gender pronouns (Mandarin comes to mind) so someone calling Scarlett a he/him MAY not be trolling or disrespectful. Gratz to Scarlett and I hope to see her streaming soon, maybe even on EU or KR! | ||
